  1. Hi friends Skilled Migration Western Australia contacts eligible applicants by email through SkillSelect with a link to the State nomination application form, which must be completed within 28 days. This includes three multiple choice questionnaires which test your knowledge of Western Australia. You will be given links to relevant websites to help with your research. Any experiences or light into these three multiple choice questionnaires. Thanks!
  2. :dull: Hi, What are the pros and cons of 186 and 190 visa. what are the advantages and disadvantages of both. Someone give a table of comparison please. Further, please explain the three visa streams for 186 visa: The Temporary Residence Transition stream The Direct Entry stream The Agreement stream ( explain this particular stream in more details) Thanks thousands!
  3. For 190 , does one need to have at least a 2 year job contract ahead before the state sponsors you. If after grant of 190 one gets a better job and wants to move to another state, is it possible and will it effect the 190 visa or future application for citizenship.
  4. 1) What happens if the jobs that sponsored you for 190 is no more or ends before 2 years and one cannot find another job in that state. 2) How to claim work experience points for total work experience and Australian work experience. For example, my total work experience combined with Australian work experience is 8 years, Australian experience is 1 year. Can I claim 10 points for total experience and 5 points for Australian experience, separately? Or we need to deduct the Australian experience from total as we are claiming 5 points separately. 3) What is an character check certificate. 4) What is a police check? I have police check from UK, but not from Australia. Do I need one.
  5. By the way, How much points can a medical doctor , MBBS can claim. Is it 20 as for doctorate or 15 for bachelor's degree. cheers.
  6. Hello everyone, I have the following points i need to clear before I apply for 189. I could not find a contact email with immi and therefore will have to seek help from you guys. I have got general registration with AHPRA and will like to apply for 189 visa. I need to be clear on the following before I apply. Please advice on the following. 1) Is there a minimum validity period for passport when you apply a 189 visa. My passport is valid till 14 August 2014 and I plan to apply for 189 visa in March 2014. It will be valid for less than six months. 2) If I apply for renewal of my passport with the Embassy now, my passport will be still current till I get a new. Can I apply for the 189 visa with my current passport, while its renewal is in process and the original with the High commission? 3) Will we need original passports for health checks. I do not have driving licence. I have a copy of my passport attached by JP. 4) How to claim points for work experience. I understand that for work experience from Australia we need a paper from the hospital. How to claim points for past experience, outside Australia. Is it a CV. 5) How to claim points for wife. My wife is a doctor (same profession as we) and studied in a WHO recognized medical school, which is also recognized by Australia. She has an IELTS score of 7. She is yet to give her Australian medical council exams. Can I claim 5 point for her? 8) I understand the fees for 189 and 190 is same. Are there different processing times for them. For 190 there is a period of 2 years you need to work in WA. Does it start after one gets the visa or the time already spent in WA is subtracted? 9) Lastly, our baby is investigated for and urinary tract anomaly. If they find anything, will that be an obstacle for PR. Your sincere advise will be highly appreciated. Cheers!

  8. That will be great news if it is true. We will check that. We are in tier 1 and 2 visa. In the UK any one / human being is given the best medical care free of charge what ever his visa status even illegals. We did not realize that when we were there and the agent who brought us here said its same as UK and free for all. But thank you very much for the information. We will try and let you know the results. Regards
