thanks mate, unfortunately i do not have much experience in accountancy field. my age point is 30, educational qualification 15, sponsor 10 .... so it comes to 55 points... can i claim any other points. i have done my masters in professional accounting from perth... i was in australia for almost 5 years...but recently i have departed australia. can i also claim 5 points for australian study requirement ?

i have done the skill assessment in 2009. At the time, there wasnt a rule for 7 bands each. Do i have to do the skill assessment again if i apply offshore ? I wish to apply as an accountant.

G'day Guys, I am planning to apply offshore 489 visa. I need some help here. I have finished masters in accounting from the ECU in 2010. My degree has been assessed positivity from the CPA. I gave an IELTS but could not get the score of 7 bands each. However, I have atleast 6 bands in each module. I have a resident elder brother who is ready to sponsor me and my age bracket is 26-32. I use to work as a sales manager in oz for almost 1.5 years. Am i eligible to apply ? Need some help please. Thanking You, David

They have also told me that i have 3 years exclusion period for some temoprary visa. Is there any way i can ask them to remove exclusion period in australia ? Ielts score revise wasnt my fault.

Thank you all for your replies. Your suggestions are valueable. Ielts have revised my score due to mal practises at ielts centre. They have revised score of many people but unfortunately i have received my residency and have got cancelled too. I was not aware of it and does not have any criminal record too. I was informed from the immigration department at perth that i can still offshore apply for any permenent visa application. Is that right ? I want to visit canada in april on tourist visa and then after i would like to apply for immigration in canada. Will this affect my visa application ?

Hi All, i gave an ielts and also received a result from the university. I have applied for residency on the basis of it. after almost 8 months i have received a letter from ielts mentioning that they have revised my score. DIAC thinks that i gave them an incorrect information and they have cancelled my PR under section 109. i have departed australia recently without applying MRT. If i apply immigration for other country, will this affect my visa application ? I have elder brother who can sponsor me in canada. Please help me David
