Hi Everyone :biggrin: We have recently moved to Noosaville from the UK and are looking to make some new friends. We have only been in Australia since mid October, we started in Sydney and then took a drive up and have settled here. We have no family or friends here so Christmas was a quiet affair, now we are into the New Year we plan to change that situation. We have heard that there are a lot of people from the UK living in the area so it would be great to hear from a few! Cheers Gareth and Suzanne

Hi All Flights booked, we land in Sydney on 15th October! I am a fully qualified motor mechanic with 24 years experience, its proving quite difficult to find job vacancies online. I've found a few but haven't got past the automated response. I wondered if anyone had any advice of where to look or any motor trade specific recruitment agencies in the Sydney area? (agencies with real people rather than automated ones preferred) I own and run a garage/mot centre in the UK but haven't been able to assertain if this is an advantage or not yet. The vacancies I have seen have all been for main dealers and have been pretty similar and no reply to application. Any advice would be great. Gareth
