    Cheap flights

Hello, Our Flights to brisbane are looking as if its between singapore airlines and malaysian airlines. Flew with singapore before, curry and rice gets a bick sickly after eating it for breakfast dinner and tea:biggrin:. Has anyone flew with malaysian? Any good? Also whats the cheapest route, and is anywhere cheaper than skyscanner? (besides using chinese airlines) need it be under 26 hours because we have 2 little kids. We will fly from anywhere in uk. Seems to be lot cheaper fly from heathrow than manchester. Thanks
  2. Hello, Looking to move back over to Brisbane in march, Lived northside last time, so dont know much about south. Has anyone any experience of Manly/Wynnum? We have 2 daughters, oldest is 7, so we want to find somewhere nice for her with good schools. We was looking at clayfield area in northside, but seems a bit too posh what ive heard. Thanks.
  3. Hello, Just after some advice, If we dont get our childs 101 visa before middle of march, it means we will have to take her on a bridging visa, our care officer is ok with this. Only problem is we will need to leave the country and come back in when we finally get it. Our PR visa would have expired by then, and out of the 5 years we would have only been in oz for a month! (we got it before we came home last time incase we wanted to go back) Will we have any problems getting a Resident return visa 155 or 157? i will be employed and we will probably have a rental. Thanks
  4. Me and my family (wife and 2 kids age 7 and 2) are re-migrating back to brisbane in feb-march 2012. lived there for 2 years a few years back. I have a job waiting for me when i get there. We have friends we can stay at for a bit (dont like doing this as you seem like getting in the way all the time) until we raise enough money for rent downpayment. We will be landing with little or no money and just our suitcases and are planning to build form scratch. anyone else managed to do this? Last time we were there with 457 visa. this time we will all have permanent residency visas (if the 2 year olds arrives on time, if not shes on a briging visa!) so not to sure also what kind of child allowance help we will get? Thanks
  5. thanks for that leborvellec. My main concern about our visa is that we will need to leave aus after our visa expires, therefore would we need a new resident return visa to allow us back into australia? I know it is a permanent resident visa, but ive read somewhere that you need to have lived in aus for 2 years out the 5 to be guarenteed this? fingers crossed we will get it before april! Thanks.
  6. Hello, We moved to oz on a 457 visa and decided to move home. Before we did this we got our permanent residency visa (5 years) just in case we wanted to return. Now we do! The visa expires in april 2013. Since being back in uk we have had another child so are in process of applying for the 101 visa. If we dont get the visa in time can we take the little one over on a tourist visa and pop in and out of oz when the visa is granted? Also if we do this because we have not lived in oz for anytime really out of the five years, will we be let back into the country? Thanks.
