Hi, me my wife and our 2 boys are migrating to Perth on new years eve!!!!! which we are all very excited about but i have just been told i may need to get travel insurance first to go so that i can then get the medicare card? is this correct or can you get onto the medicare scheme without having travel insurance from the UK? Bearing in mind we are only coming with a suitcase each so if it goes missing not a massive loss!! Thanks Barry and Lauren
