In theory I think (I'm no expert) that it counts as long as you average at least 20 hours a week over that time. You would probably be best off having a chat with a migration agent to double check. It's very important not to claim the extra points if you are not entitled to them as you will lose your application fee (and nobody wants that!).

Does it count as a skilled employment? I have 4.5 years full-time on-site overseas work experience. Once I moved to Australia two years ago, I continued working with the same overseas company in reviewing technical reports for a year. If it doesn't count, I will loose 5 points and drop to a total of 55 points.

Does the remote work experience count? I use to do an off-site work experience from home (reviewing technical reports), and I have got the work reference, payslips, online bank transfer etc. I use to do 20 hours each week.
