  1. Hi there mate, 1-Apply for IE qualification (it takes time man! even new online system is going to get full queues, i.e 2-3 months of wait) then while in the migration steps you probably will reach 3 years, then apply for IE again (when you have those 3 yrs finalized) for recognition of experience for ~ 200 AUD(doesn`t take time) 2- Dude, Washington accord changes everything you can finish step 1 faster, but fyi IE is a technical syndicate they do check to see if your 3 yrs are RELEVANT to your specialization , if not they will refuse i think (and that means applicant has a low iQ ) but DIBP checks for the INTEGRITY of your claims (75% they will contact your employer somehow at least its so for us High risk "Egyptian)... DIBP can`t just check for relevance of every single job/ specially it needs a HUGE staff. need my opinion, just go ahead with IE whenever you finalize the 3 yrs. 3- The Color scans for the eVisa is for stamps and signatures regardless of the color of the document itself... so payslip must have those right? you don`t need ANY notarization/lawyer hassle mate many of my friends got grants already this way. Good luck with your Migration and if i were in your shoes with 2 7months i shall start NOW, make the wait period only for the 3 yrs finalization. IE processing will be fast for you so probably in 7 months you can get a grant if you time it right.
  2. Hi there, I`m a production Engineer 233513, who worked for 5 yrs+ as mechnical/production Engineer and applying for a 190 Visa. I`m about to send my CDR to EA but i was surprised when i checked here : http://www.anzscosearch.com/ that all the states except Victoria are closed for me! i remember a year ago or so that wasn`t the case and there was many states open. Does the SOL of states change at the end of the Migration year (ending before June)? (i.e occupations meet cap) Now i`m in a dilemma , shall i go for assessment as a Mechanical Eng. Instead? 233512 Which has more than 3 states open. i`m so worried that if i normally applied as production the Production (which is flagged and almost removed from all states) will be removed! I mean both Mech./ Prod. are flagged but its simple to see the later is the more probable to get booted off SOL altogether? Flagging information : http://www.awpa.gov.au/our-work/labour-market-information/skilled-occupation-list/pages/flagged-occupations.aspx Thanks for any help in advance. Nabil
  3. Walkwater thanks alot for your replay specialy the slim chance one i had other thoughts on my mind. I`m a Production Engineer, and though my experience is only in general equipment maintance and some projects management but i know that WA specfically needs much candidates for the booming mining industry + my occupation is listed there so i just want to have myself available there while in the same time not closing the gates for any other state that needs or MIGHT need i nthe future my occupation. so i understand from your words that i should just leave em all blank if i don`t mind going to any. or blank will close my chance to get my highly anticipated WA? "cause i have been there before for some weeks in bussiness visa and truly liked perth & fremantle though i didn`t visit any other aussie state" again thanks alot in advance for any replies or any links/ similar cases for migration:smile:
  4. Dear all, I`m soon finished with me IELTS+ Engineers Australia assement and started looking for which visa option to go for. i did a small research in DIAC site regarding conditions and obligations and Processing time and Priority and briefly i found the following : 1- Skilled Independent subclass 189 (permenant visa) * Very long visa processing time (1 Yr OO) * Very low priority in migration processing * i will barely pass as i`ll get the 60 marks only! 2- State Nomination visa subclass 190 (permenant visa) * a short processing for a permenant visa (6 months) * avg priority "category 3 afaik?" *will grant you an extra 5 marks! * you have to stay and work 2 yrs in one state "not sure though if u should ethically or MUST?" 3- Employer Nomination subclass 186 * don`t recall its permenant or temporary * good priority + pass mark points 4- Regional Sponsored (employer nomination+regional) 187 * don`t recall its permenant or temporary *Best priority and passmark points i`m in checking the part in EOI in which you have to TICK your choices carefully for one of the options above for visa and it also asks you whether you like working in regional Australia or not? i`m tottaly clueless in this point.... i DISCARDED 189 due to very low priority and i need t migrate in barely 1 year or less! "still going for 3 months assement" and i see the 190 to be the perfect package in my case since its not limiting you job choice or location "not forced for regionals" Now my WORRY is: regarding the rest the employer nomination and regional sponsored are both a very big chance of migration and also getting you a job ! But if you apply with them i`m so worried of getting a job i do not like or even a job i don`t like and a regional place bad as hell!! and in the same time LOCKING myself for 2 months since they state if they invite you for a visa you will have to wait for 2 months to wait for something else! so should i just head foreward to state that needs my Occupation and through the 190 subclass and ignore alllll other visa choices and deselect regional agreement.??? and should even if i did so should i leave state chocie open or just limit it to the ones i like the most + that have me in thier state SOL best regards, awaiting your answers
  5. Thanks for all your replies thats my point they both need general but DO they accept academic?...... that questrion is my worry since i can score better in academic i`m practicing atm and since i`m a non native speaker i tottaly improved my english self study by lots of scientific reading over the last decade so its easier to score in that reading for me and to get 8.0 score in reading you do need a bit less degrees out of 40
  6. Dear all, The DIAC Website states the following : " IELTS has an academic test and a general training test. Unless you are required to do otherwise by your assessing authority you only need to take the general training test" my assesssing authority "Engineers Australia" gives you the choice whether to take Academic or General and apply with it. now the problem is from the DIAC statement i can`t get it 100% clear so, in my case if i did the academic "I need for many reasons" which is abit easier for me to score higher and it will help me if i wanted to enlist in any college for any kind of education, will that be wrong? or what please clarify this point since i`m so confused and about to take the test in 1 month best regards, Nabil
  7. thanks alot for your answer philip. This is abit disappointing, so you are telling me they ignored your masters/Diploma/Bachelor Degree and recognized 3 yrs only of your Education? and i have Bsc. only so in my case i might be recognized as a "high school graduate"!!:twitcy: but two questions here, supposing u DID well in the CDR is it all dependant on that???? just like 30 papers u fill them with paragraphs??? or there is any other factors in ur other papers like list of subjects studied, graduation grade etc.. i mean when he decides that a person is a worthy professional engineer or give him just technologist degree. regards
  8. Hi there, i`m happy that i found a place discussing migration issues ,though i`m Egyptian but there is no where else online that discusses australian migration. I`m a 29 yrs old Production Engineer 4 yrs experience i have been planning to migrate since i visited fremantle/Perth and been reading through all migration long procedures. I have many questions and confusions although i already started preparation for IELTS so i`ll briefly state my questions: 1- If i finished both IELTS/ Engineers Australia assessment and applied at the brand new Skill Select they will invite me to only Independent skilled? or in other words how i can tell them that i have no problem with state nomination IF my score didn`t cath??? how this works? 2- 2nd question and thats my biggest problem... the longest part of migration is Assesment "its all the same i guess with different qualifications and different assessing authorities in charge" so after i finish all the papers "there is a truck load of it!! " I`m applying for Professional Engineer but my university sorrowfully though reputable in my country "Alexandria university" but it isn`t recognized in aussie so what exactly the outcomes i might get after assement??? Get recognized as a professional Engineer ? or get Lower grade as Associate Engineer (-1 year) until i get some kind of education equivalent to Prof Engineer. Or i get recognized as professional Engineer with the condition of finishsing some chosen courses for a complete recogntion. In other words whats the possible results after processing my papers after i apply for assement as Prof Engineer? Thanks in advance for any help
