It's looking bleak there is not a lot of work on the coast !!! I'm happy to move inland a little but I think it's the same there, don't really want to relocate to another state

Hi I'm a boilermaker on a 457 and have been working on the Gold Coast for the last 2 years running a steel workshop . Over the last few months the company has taken a turn for the worst and now I'm not sure how long it will be before the company goes bust !!!! I'm now never sure if I will get paid every week . There is only myself and my wife over here but we don't have enough money to apply for our PR as that will cost $8000 we don't know what to do as we can't go back to the uk , any help out there ??? Great to hear your thoughts

A welder/fabricator needed on the gold coast must be able to read drawings and work alone, company is a 457 visa holder.

i got mine granted after 9 days that was 2 months ago , i went through a visa agent who also sorted out the company 457

Im working for a shade sail company on my 457 visa with them and they really need some good experienced lads who can read drawings erect steel, fit shade sails and do ground works. If you have any experience in any of those am sure they would love to hear from you . Life is good on the Gold coast!

We have just been granted our visa and are moving to the gold coast , I want to take my car and motor bike but not sure if it's worth it as we have a 457 visa. We have 2 German shepherd dogs to come and not sure if it's best to sell everything or get a container or can we share a container any help would be great.
