  1. 1446 form is for visa application withdrawal. I am not sure if the same form can be used. I don't want to withdraw my PR visa. I just want to withdraw my application for "Australian Citizenship". Anyone has done it?
  2. Hi, I am trying to find information on how to withdraw Citizenship Application. I applied in February 2020. However, now i feel like I should reapply (there are some reasons). Can i do it?   4. Hi: I am a 189 applicant from HR country. Applied quite long time ago. For some reason i cannot access my application anymore. i can access to my EOI page but after clicking on "continue a saved online visa application" i am directed to a new page where i am asked to create new UserID and Password. The TRN and password is not working. Is this something new that has been implemented lately? or there is any other obvious reason for it? on EOI page my application status is: "Lodged". Someone please give me an idea before i write to my CO. Regards, Zooki
  5. Given that i am from a high risk country, i don't understand why the CO asked me to do the medical and PCC in the first place. As you know the PCC will get expired in 3/4 months time and i might need to rearrange those if needed (4 PCC from 4 different countries: real pain). Does not make sense.
  6. I think i am in a unique kind of situation with my 189 visa application. I really want to hear the experts view on this or anyone (if) having the similar problems: 1. Type: 189: System Analyst 2. Heard from CO in November 2012 with asking for required documents that included: PCC and Medical. Given 28 days to complete the process or at least provide the necessary documents as a proof of attempts. (Some PCC require more than a month to process) 3. I needed PCC from 4 different countries. Arranged in 1 month. Meanwhile provided all the "proof of attempts" to meet the deadline. 4. Medical also done as required. 5. 100% document submitted as per DIAC retirement by 1 st week of January 2013. 6. Job reference checked by DIAC in December as per my employer. 7. Email Exchange with CO in March 2013 regarding updates. CO asked "NOT to do Medical if not done yet". That was a surprise because i was already told by him to do the medical in November. Updated him that i have already done the medical. 8. Email exchange with CO in May 2013: CO asked for "Patience". 9. In july, i found in the skill select system the "organize your medical" link is up gain. (surprised again). According to the Skill Select systems all the required documents are "received" except Medical showing "Requested". 10. Email CO to ask if i have to do the medical again and/or why the link is up again. 11. CO responded "NOT to do Medical and PCC unless otherwise told by his office". Totally lost. 12. Updated the CO regarding the whole fact that i did PCC and Medical only after he asked me to do it in his original email in 8 month ago. 13. NO Response Yet. Now, what should i do? I am really lost as i have a feeling that my file is not being processed well. and there are miscommunication between me and my CO. does anyone know under what circumstances this sort of situation might arise? Usually how long does it take to Hear a "NO" for an application (if that is what i am heading to)? I would really appreciate if someone guide me here (too frustrated). Regards, Zooki.
  7. Could you pls explain the "Medical referred" term. In the system (skill select) i see every required document as "received" except medical, which says "requested". However, i have done my medical upon receiving the DIAC mail for doing medical in last November. What it means by medical referred as far as decision making is concern? If there is anything wrong with my medical, aren't they supposed to let me know that? i have checked with the health center. however, they refused to tell me anything except telling that result was sent to DIAC right after the examination. Thanks for your help.

  9. I have applied for 189 (ICT BA) in last November and subsequently done my medical and PCC by 1st week of January 2013. While applying i was half prepared to go to US to pursue Advance Degree. However i had postponed that process with a hope that the DIAC process will take minimum time and in that case i can have advance degree in AUS with greater flexibility. Unfortunately, till today, i have not heard any positive reply from DIAC on my application. I was hoping even if the application gets rejected i could stick with my original plan. I wrote to CO describing details about 1.5 month ago. However, he did not gave my any clear answer but expected my "patience". It has been 8/9 months already. and i am running out of time. What would be the best decision for me? I am really lost. Please share your thoughts. Regards, Zooki
  10. I have applied in ICT Business Analyst category in early January with all the necessary docs (Visa is lodged, fee paid, PCC/Medical done). I am just wondering if "reaching ceiling" is effecting the processing time of my application. Please share your thoughts.
  11. Actually I did. I did contact the CO about 1.5 month (1st week of January) ago with IOM Money Receipt and quarried on my medical that i did in November. To my surprise the CO emailed me the next week asking me not to do the Medical until he ask me to do so!!!!!! How is that possible? I don't know how to react. and i think i am totally lost.
  12. so, is it normal that you hear nothing from your CO even after 3 months, after submitting all the required docs [for 189]?
  13. This is probably an odd question. But i am having the following issue. I have done my medical about 3 months ago [for 189]. and till now the system says Health report is "requested". I have contacted the IOM and they say they had sent the report to the CO long time ago. Also refused to tell me anything else. Is this normal? Can someone please tell me what am i doing wrong/what should i do.... is there any way to know the reports?
  14. Can anyone tell me how to obtain the police check of US from Bangladesh? In the FBI website it is not clear how to arrange the fingerprint. Also no address is given. Anyone familiar with the system, please help.
  15. lebourvellec: Thanks for your reply. During my application no where it was mentioned that it has to be with 12 month validity. My wife's Bachelor (4 years) degree was also conducted in English, and she has the letter from the university. However, during the application i decided to use her IELTS as a proof of functional English. So if i understand you correctly, now using the letter instead of IELTS would not be an issue? Appreciate your help.
  16. during my visa application i have written down that my dependent has functional English [http://www.immi.gov.au/skills/skillselect/index/functional-english/]. the IELTS is valid 6 more months. However, My CO is asking for resubmission of IELTS score to proof the functional English of my dependent that is NO older than 12 month. What should i do? Is it going to be an automatic rejection? I have not claimed any points from my dependent. Please help.
  17. in the system it says : "The 'end date' field of the applicant's current employment should be left blank." However, its not not letting me leaving the field blank and giving error massage: "required field". what date should i put? Any though anybody?

  20. Original one was issued by my employer. After making copy of it, the copy is certified by authorized person (notary).
  21. i did submit original scanned copy of my Employment Reference. The next day i received an email saying "certified copy is needed".
  22. Hi: I am all set to submit my application (subclass 189). I am on the page where there is a "submit application" button and it is asking for Credit Card details. However, it has not asked me for any attachments (certified copy of any documents). Is this normal? Do i have to attach the documents after submitting the application? Someone please help.   23. Hi: I am not familiar with the whole immigration process. And i do not have any agent either. I have used the guidance of this forum for EOI. Yesterday i have received the invitation for 189 independent. I would really appreciate if someone guide me on the following things: 1. What are the documents i must keep/upload during the application process? 2. Does the systems allow you to save the unfinished application? 3. Do i have to have police verification ready or i will get asked for it later? 4. is there any link/source that stipulates what sort of medical test i need to go through? will i get asked for it later as well?   24. I have my experience assessed by ACS as 8.5 yrs. Technically i was on 1 year paid study break (it was written on the job certificate that was given to ACS). it is apparent that they have included the study break in my experience. My dilemma is: Now that i am going to fill out the EOI, should i just write down what ACS has given me as total experience? with 8.5 yrs i have 70 points. will there be any issue (if i get the invitation) regarding my work experience even though ACS has given me 8.5 year? I really would appreciate if someone through some light. zooki
  25. Hi: I did the skill assessment as system analysts (ACS) about 1 year ago. The letter issue date is 26th of July 2011. They gave me 4 years and 9 months of experience. The letter also says it expires in one year from the issue date. Following is my status: 1. As of today i meet the minimum point (60). 2. If i reassess i should have more than 5 years of experience. and that will add 5 extra points. 3. My IELTS score (7+, individual) expires in April' 2013 4. As of today my age is 32 years 2 months. I am facing the following issues: 1. According to the different sources, the ACS assessment is valid for 2 years, that contradict what's written in my assessment letter. 2. Am i eligible to submit EOI with the current status? (especially with current assessment report) 3. Should i go for reassessment to have extra 5 points? In that case, what is the average waiting period for invitation? I really appreciate if someone give me a quick suggestion. Saem
