I received an email this morning - my visa has been granted!!! Straight to subclass 100!!

 

I can't describe the relief of having it granted!

Just had a thought, and maybe someone here can help me/shed some light on the following

We want to apply for a defacto visa next year, all pretty straight forward, except that when we apply we will be engaged, and probably while being processed we will be getting married, ( 2/9/17 ) would this have any effects on the visa process? my partner would want to have my surname....

We can get married months before at the town hall to make everything official just before we apply for the visa if this would be easier, but would prefer not to

anyone an idea?

Does anyone know the time frame for a 309/100 visa? I've read quite a bit and some have had it in 4 months, others 8-10 months..

Just want to know when we should apply for OH visa. We will be leaving in july 2018, was thinking of applying early next year, Jan/feb 2017.

Don't really want to spend another few grand on a quick trip

Does anyone know the new fee for the spouse visa? it's now $6865, but heard it's going up as of July 2016 :sad:

what is the average visa timeline now days for the 309 visa? the end of last year it was 12months or more, but having a quick look on here it has been reduced? is this correct? and when will they reduce the costs? :biglaugh:

Sent a quick email to case officer and 15 mind later she called my husband to say he's been granted the 100 & that it will come through later today. Absolutely delighted after 12 years in Liverpool I'm ready to go home to good old Tassie. Thanks for the advice it worked a treat

did the CO tell you why he was first granted the 309?

Well it can be done, if that's what you mean - I've got a car coming here leaving from Zeebrugge at the moment, but motorbikes into containers may be slightly different in terms of where they're loaded and where they go via. Email if you want us to chase up prices for you.

don't need prices at the moment, but We would be send our furniture over and thought about putting the motorbike in the container... Will get in touch when it gets closer, 2015 :wink:
