Emailed the c/o this morning to ask if there was any news, got an email an hour or so later saying it would be finalised in the next few days. Another email an hour later with the grant!!!

thanks going by what I've just received in the mail box, have some good news at 17:32 today I got through a subclass 100 grant!

 

Seriously happy, flights to be booked and planning to be done.

 

Just make sure you add all you can and supply the case office with a link to your Facebook account.

Got my visa grant notification by email about half an hour ago and thought I'd best post on here ASAP to share the good news and reassure all of you who applied late June / early July that the weight is nearly over!

 

Now I can book some flights!! :jiggy:

Exactly!! Our plans too will be shot to bits, we've already sold up and moved into my parents, the only thing left to do is quit the job! To be honest a grant could not come quick enough. Good luck to you

Whoop whoop, insert happy dance here, visa granted today!!! 8 months and 1 day after applying 19th June. I emailed CO to ask how it was going, where we were in the pile, etc. and got the grant in their reply, couldn't quite believe it!

 

So bizlarker, I don't see that it could hurt for you to do the same, best of luck to you!

Woohoo - grant today! Lodged 25 June in London. And they confirmed my husband got his 100 visa. We have been together for 8 years.

 

Ironically we can't go right now. But hubby is preparing for a nice holiday in Sydney with my family to activate it in a month or so. Then we will move over later, hopefully around Christmas. Very pleased!

Finally things are moving again..... At last!!

Here's to the start of a new week and let's hope there's some good news!

Be very careful applying for any other visa now as if you do and they cross over, you could cancel out your partner visa. By that I mean if you apply for a tourist visa and it takes a couple of days to come through, but in the meantime, after you apply you get your partner visa grant, then get your tourist visa grant, the most recent visa would cancel out the other as I understand it.

 

You are coming up to the 7 month mark. Not sure what is happening time wise but a little while back a fair few people were getting their grants 7-8 months in. Although it could be now back up to the 8-9 month time frame CO give when appications are lodged.

 

You would just apply for the 3 month tourist visa if you do go ahead. And then you have to go offshore for visa grant. Before you do anything though, contact your CO and inform them of your plans to travel to Aus and ensure they know you intend to apply for a tourist visa and when.

Hi, just wondering if anyone knows what visa I could go to Oz on, as my visa hasn't been granted yet. There's a few tourist visas and I'm not sure which one would be best. I applied in July so could only be looking at another 65 days maximum but really don't think I can wait any longer! Any help would be appreciated

I applied for my spouse visa early July, been advised not to do meds until October, case officer LG. Hubby's Aussie and us and our son are living with the parents until we go........ Everything sold or in storage already, must be desperate!
