Hello All! First, I would like to thank all of you for your support and time. I have been granted PR on 10 December 2015 (189 visa). The letter says that I have been granted restricted-free entry for 5 years. My last date to enter Australia is in August 2016. My question is when this 5 year period will start, the day I have been granted visa or the date I will enter Australia. I have not been to Australia before. Please answer my question. I have just received my IELTS score (2 days back): Listening: 8.5 Reading: 7.0 Writing: 7.0 Speaking: 7.0 I got successful evaluation from Engineers Australia as an Industrial Engineer back in June 2010(paper based). But due to some family problems, I didn't applied to DIAC. Now things are pretty OK and I am planning to launch for 189 visa. My circumstances have not changed since then and still I am working as an Industrial Engineer. For complete application pack, I need to get updated assessment from Engineers Australia. Please guide what do I need to do now to get the updated assessment from Engineers Australia. I have searched the website of Engineers Autstralia and found that I need to fill a form with fee and send it along with original assessment result. IS THIS ENOUGH? If not, please anyone guide me. Hello All! I have three question for state sponsorship in South Australia. 1. If I join any University in South Australia for my PhD by research option on 190 visa sponsored by South Australia, then I would be paying domestic fees or international fees? I have read that for the first two years I would be treated as international student for fee paying purposes. 2. Also, please tell about the job market in whole of South Australia? I am Industrial Engineer and willing to do any kind of job for start-up. 3. What is the basic cost of living in South Australia? I mean I need a bed to sleep, bathroom to use and two vegetarian meals (this is for initial time only during job hunt). All your replies and comments are really appreciated. Regards.

Dear All! I am planning to join University of South Australia for my PhD Degree (Research) in Engineering. If I join University of South Australia for my PhD Degree (Research) on 190 visa ( Sponsored by South Australia), then what will be my status for fee paying purposes? Will it be domestic or international from day one? I am not citizen of Australia and have 190 visa sponsored by South Australia. Please clarify my doubt. Regards.

Thanks George for your comments! I have honest work history in India, USA and Oman. I have worked in these countries and currently working in India. I am Indian citizen and I can tell you things are not easy here. Here people try to pull legs, I can say this as I have seen work culture in three countries. I don't have salary slips of my past employment here in India because the company for which I was working don't have system of salary slips. I can show my tax documents and moreover, I closed the bank account in which I was getting my salary. In my earlier years of employment (2004 - 2005), I was not coming under taxable salary so I have not filed taxes. I have talked with my Chartered Accountant and he told me this. Is this OK for DIAC that I show employment letter, and tax documents and verification by employer? Please comment. Regards.

Dear All! I am scoring 55 points and I have all papers ready to file for State Sponsorship of South Australia. I have one question: During my assessment with Engineers Australia, I have only shown work experience related to my nominated occupation. Other irrelevant experience were not shown. Now When launching application to DIAC, I have to show all experience. I have lived in USA for four years and worked in 2 companies as casual workers. I don't have letter from these 2 companies but I have W-2 (Tax statement) in original from these 2 companies. Is this OK that I have not shown experience of this casual worker while launching application to Engineers Australia for assessment? W-2 proof is OK to show that I worked for these two companies? How DIAC make employment check, by physically going there, sending some body, or phone, email or fax? All your comments/answers are really appreciated. Regards.
