My medicals were refereed due to hypertension. Am hypertensive and a little over weight. MOC did not ask for any additional information after that. Don't worry she will be cleared its only a matter of time. That type of health problem is not a threat to the Australian economy. All will be well i tell you.

Hie guys. Just to let you know that my Visa was approved last week on the 21st of May. My medicals were refered on the 14th of February

Hie guys i am in the same boat too. My medicals we referred on 14 February 2013. sill no news. My friend submitted his around the same time as me but his visa was approved on monday last week. Its so frustrating.

Am not sure of now. My outcome came within a week. Maybe its because i was doing through an agent who was hands on with the infor. I don't know but my results did not delay.

Thanks thinktank for the comfort. Just read another article saying their main concern is the Financial burden the disease will have on the economy. It also says they r worried about the impact it will have on locals like denying them access to the health facilities. Like they don't want to bring in people who will be an expense to their economy. Wonder weather my case wont be seen as threatening. @ naja did u lodge them with vetassess or the DIAC?

Hie guys i know its been long but i finally did my assessment. I passed the assessment and now am waiting for my visa. It was lodged 18/12/2012. I did my medicals but i am a bit worried because my blood pressure was a bit high 152/89. Can this affect my visa outcome. Am very worried. Anyone with an idea?

At sharmassy we got the offer from a friend who had found these guys from the internet. We started everything in January, i must tell you the process is hectic as you can see. At Lebourvellec, now i am confused. I dont know what to do coz i did submit those vetassess papers and when i call my employer's representetive, he keeps telling me they arestill waiting for vetassess to reply. If i may ask man, is it that these 1st of July changes are the ones which scrapped the assessment on 457 or the assessment was not required even before the 1st July. Please help pal

Lebourvellec I got this offer of employment in April. I signed the contract and everything. I am still in Africa waiting for the VISA to be granted. Some of the guys from Zambia have already started work in Australia. I am from Zimbabwe and us from Zimbabwe and South Africans were told that we need our skills to be assessed. Thank you Sunshine. I also tell myself that i wont think about this but the thoughts are so inevitable. It keep you on the edge. I will try to email vetassess and see whether i can get something from them. Have to keep our fingers crossed. Guees we have no choice but to wait. Hope everything will work out in the end.
