Hi guys ... my nomination has been approved just now... received email from my MA... i hope i get my visa approved today as well...

The visa was applied for on the 19th of May

proof of Australian qualifications, strange request considering most of the qualifications were from the UK. But what they ask for, they get :wink:

ENS has three streams

1.Temporary Resident Transition

2. Direct Entry

3. Labour Agreement

Skill assessment is required if the applicant applied through Direct Entry Stream...

skill assessment is not a requirement for visa 186 why would they ask for skill exempt paperwork.

I've contacted them several times by email and phone...same generic response, it's in processing...

Try January...!? I feel like they've may have lost my application or maybe it's at the bottom of a pile on someone's desk!! So frustrated, come on Immi please approve January applications it's way behind now..

i contacted deptt. of immi..they reply they will contact me if any info required :-)

Well they have approved some from June, so not sure there is any structure in how they do it to be honest.

Just need to wait.

Employer lodged nomination on 28/5 and application lodged 29/5. Does anyone know how long the nomination approval takes, or is it all wrapped up together? Medicals were don't on 24/5 under my health declarations.

As they change the automatic e-mail every Wednesday, I sent a blank one and this is the response:

 

We are currently allocating ENS and RSMS applications that were lodged in May 2015.

 

I would also like to remind everyone what they state in the e-mail:

Please do not send emails directly to a case officer unless you have been specifically requested to do so.

hey lukesam , I read all thread n find that even though IT application lodge in June they got granted before May applications..

My occupation is IT so not sure that is the case...

I have heard nothing yet either...

I was on a NZ Citizien Family Relationship Visa and with this visa you dont have to complete a skills assessment via direct entry if you have been working for your nominating employer for 2 years when application is lodged. I was 14 days short and thought you just had to be working for 2 years at the time the visa was granted. Costly error!
