    i have asked before as well regarding 857, seriously need to get out of this place asap. want to know if my employer gives me a release letter will my 857 canceled. What if they ( employer) don mention that i am not working with them any more. OR any knid of suggestion to get out of this 857 chain. thank you.

  2. That is a very good question. I'm sure there are many of us who would be eligible for citizenship after a year who could be hoping for that. One problem is that depending on where you live it can take months to actually get citizenship.

    My own personal, not knowing any of the legalities, opinion is that after you have that certificate in your hand you should be safe.

  3. Hi guysneed help pleasi have found another job which will pay me more than. Where I am working now.I ha e got recedency from this employer. Employer is ready to GI e .e release letter . Will this effect my PR if I go to other employer. Its in the same territory ans its same field.

  5. Yeah that sounds pretty familiar. When I first went to my MA last May to begin this (lengthly) process I recall him providing me with the guidelines and requirements for the RSMS, which was obviously before all of the changes from 1 July. I remember it mentioning that the job needed to be advertised in three different locations for at least a month. I can't recall off the top of my head, but I think it gave examples of SEEK, CareerONE, The Advertiser, etc ... but we had opted for three free job seeking websites instead, not knowing that you HAD to advertise on one of those sites (which involves more money). Anyway, the result was that we had to re-advertise on SEEK for a month anyway. But under the new reform, it doesn't actually state that you have to advertise in three locations or for any particular period of time. I guess it just needs to be convincing enough that the employer has advertised for a reasonable length of time to make an attempt to hire from the local labour force...

     

    what if the vacancy is not advertised. cause my employer din advertise the vacancy. is there high chances that my nomination might get rejected.

  6. Calender days take weekend into account. All I know is that the applicant has to give response to DIAC's request within 28 calender days, have never heard of that they will make a decision within 28 calender days after providing documents.

     

    ok so its not neccessary that they will gve any kind of decesion in nomination weather its approved r na in 28 dyas ......fair enough. my situation is i am working network support engineer in Tiling Compnay and bit worried about it, as tiling company is not proper IT industry. so finger crossed eveery thing will be fine

  7. That means including Saturday and Sunday. Normally they ask for documents to be sent to them within 28 days, they don't normally say they will reply by then. Are you sure that is what they said?

    ya its written in a letter, with in 28 calendar days...........

  8. I think you can check how many invitations left regarding your job from IMMI website, and I think system will send invitation at certain time not every day, so I dont think 1 month is a long time.

    but you are right, we should have a backup if RSMS or ENS visa failed:eek:

     

    BTW, we should enjoy the coming weekend instead of feaking panicking lol

  9. hey guys whats 28 calendar days mens, is it a straight 28 days including sat sun, or just working days. if its straight days then how come diac din replied back to the doc which my employer sent . its already been 31 days . or shall i ask my employer to send them email asking about the nomination.

Ok I am making it clear it as well why I did not do Onshore is that I had to include my son in my appplication who still offshore for thta i had to do offshore (119) application.Other thing is I did not have knowledge about the processing times as well if I would have known probably I would have done onshore and do another application for son to get here.

    Anyone here waiting from April guys??Thanx

     

    if u applied in march and haven't got co then u need to email them RBp i hope u have done that . cheers

  11. It is possible they are not totally happy with the information given and are making their own checks, or it could just be that your co has gone on holiday or is sick. It is hard, but try not to panic. Sometimes they just take a while.

    don know man he is in holiday, he will be back next week. i think not cause if he would get the mail he would have forwarded me. this is the main reason i am panicking, been already 31 day and haven't received anythiing from caseofficer.

    hey blosson79, mate do you have any idea how long they take to give decision after u submit ur doc. As DIAN sinior case officer asked my boss to submit a statement why company need a paid employee. and he submitted the documets and its already been 30 days including weekend as in a letter time frame is 28 calander day.

    one of my mate we applied together he and his employeer got case officer in same day, how come i din get case office when my bose got co.

    will appreciate ur answer man if u can.

  14. hah, you guys make me to check the email again to find out whats the title for my CO,

    well, it is "Case Manager" and I doubt the different between case manager and officer

     

    man my boss co whose position is senior case officer. how come my boss got the senior case officer, do i have to worry about it . Help please its todays its 30th day since my boss got the seniorcase officer who asked him about need of a paid employee.
