  1. Hi, I've still not had any contact from a case officer despite status chaging to 'abpf' status on the 14/06, it would seem that all a number of us who went onto the abpf status on that that day have had no contact from a CO. We've already had meds finalised and pcc loaded (even loaded up completed form 80's!) I've just emailed the dept to ask if we actually have a CO or if there is an issue and remimded them politely about CO's allocated within 4 weeks of lodgement etc. as you do feel a little in limbo - esp as many others hear from CO's straight away. All very frustrating when you trying to organise flights for validation visits etc. Knowing my luck I've got the newbie in DIAC who needs training up! Just seems a bit odd that on the sprdsht those going to abpf on the 14th have had no contact with any CO...... Any thoughts?... Andy
  2. Here's hoping to equally fast processing for us lot! I'm already planning our visit in January next year, we need to book flights etc.
  3. stuck it on!!(just on the end though!)
  4. After approximately 13 days our meds have 'finalised' on the sytem, as yet no contact from a CO but been on precessing further since midish June. Everything already loaded up apart from from 80 as sometimes they don't ask for one. Heres to hoping it is sorted out soon! We are planning to go to Oz to visit and travel around a bit in early next year then return to UK with a view to a move shortly after to some in SA. Dunno where in SA though, wherever we can get teaching work, prob out in the country somewhere. I'll stick my details on the spreadsheet- assuming that I do indeed have a CO! Best of luck to everyone. Andy
  5. Hi, its up to you, I would get started anyway, the processing time currently states a CO within 4 weeks of lodgement, if you want a sat appt for the meds better get them booked in now. Police clearance takes about 2 weeks. Andy
  6. Defo true about validation- however as you are currently in Aus I'm not sure how it works, maybe a telephone call to immi office just to check.
  7. Hi, we uploaded all of our doc's ready, wage slips etc etc. So I don't think it will do any harm, if they want more they will ask. Andy
  8. Hi, update from our end. We've just had our meds at handsworth in Brum. Went fine for all of us except I have a stinking cold and therefore my bp was slightly raised but still just within 'normal'. Heigh ho,now just need to await the CO, should be any day soon now. Not much to the meds really, the doc was really good and friendly with kids etc. Someone somewhere is making some serious dosh charging £710 for our families meds though, always thought I was in the wrong profession, I should have worked harder at school!! I would recommend handsworth though if you are looking to do meds in midlands, bit of a mare to find without sat nav if you don't know brum. Fingers crossed it all goes through soon.
  9. Hi, thought I would join up as we have submitted our 176 for SA on the 8th June, no CO as yet but now states further processing. We are in the process of booking our med's in Birmingham but the next Saturday slot is mid July!!!
