Can someone explain why all these families on Wanted Down Under look at the finances they seem to be better off. I just don't get it when the cost of living in Australia is so much higher? Or maybe it's just me but I don't think my wages would be that much higher in Australia than they are here??

Hello, I am trying to get stuff together for skills assessment and don't seem to be getting anywhere.I started my nurse training in 1988 and the school of nursing no longer exists so I have contacted NMC about that but have not heard back yet. I also need transcript for my midwifery training and the school of midwifery is no longer going, I contacted my old course leader who now works for another university so she couldn't help. I have since done a degree and do have a basic transcript of modules/points but it doesn't talk about hours so not sure if that's enough either. Does anyone have any ideas? Thanks

Hello This is my first time on here! I am a midwife and plan to apply for permanant residency. Just wondering what other peoples experiences are, should I attempt myself or use a migration agent?
