Hi everyone,
I am new to the site. I have found it so helpful following everyones timescales as I continue the anxious wait for my visa to be granted.
I am applying via an agent. I lodged on 15th Feb 2013 and had my medical on 21st May 2013 with police check a week later.
When checking on the status of my visa application my agent said that some applications were being granted sooner than the 8-9 months but basically just sit tight until the time is up.
I look forward to hearing when the Jan/Feb lodgers start getting their visa's granted!
Hi hails and welcome to the thread... im on a similar timeframe to you & also hoping for some early news!! Have tried to input my details to spreadsheet but my android tablet doesnt seem compatible.. good luck with your application news...

My partner visa has been granted today! Got the 100 subclass as expected (together about 10 years, married for 6 years, have a child together).
Chuffed:jiggy:
Timeline for it for those that are curious -
* Application lodged - Jan 21 2013 - Couple of minor pieces of evidence requested shortly after and I provided them without any problems.
* Medical taken - April 25 2013 - Referred afterwards (was told about a 3 month referral timeframe). Medical had been given an A grade rating so was not unduly worried.
* Police check - Early April 2013 - All good.
* Visa grant - July 30 2013
We were already booked on a flight out to Aus for the start of October so this makes life a bit easier.
Congratulations snifter... Im hopefully not too far behind! Good luck with it all..

Hi Nikcos.
can I ask who your c/o is? I applied at the exact same day as you. just wondering if you had spoken to your c/o and if they had mentioned anything about what seems to be the updated processing time on the immigration website.

I think it said 8/9 months before for the 309/100 visa if i remember correctly but it seems to be 5/6 months now.
Hi cheesecake12 seems to be a few of us in the same timeframe at the moment, I recently spoke with my CO but forgot to ask on up to date processing times as was so stoked that im being processed for subclass 100!! I dont really want to hassle my CO (DP) who has been really helpful to date and dont want to rock the boat! Fingers crossed it has moved from 8-9 months to 6 months so I can start planning the big off.. good luck

Hi, havent been on in a while but im also a feb applicant.. had medical last week and confirmed with CO today that all is fine (phew!) Just waiting for police check to come back to forward on and then just back to the game! Still not sure whether 100 or 309 to be granted?
have you heard anything back as yet??

Assigned our CO today!! had a phone call asking for one piece of info missing on application and emailed with medical& police check dates after 19/5/13.. as expected advised earliest waiting time 8 - 9 months.. seems like a pleasant CO though which always helps..
Happy Days!

I couldnt possibly think of anything else we could have added!! Our 4th 888 form statement came into today too so hopefully a good omen but i'm sure they'll find something.. Our CO has got some reading to do!!

when i say front loaded snifter i meant laden with information to hopefully avoid an additional request for more.. luckily the advice on earlier threads told me not to go lengths of police checks & medicals at this early stage..

Finally.. application sent today front loaded.. And so it begins!!

Thanks Suzee..
it is a long wait, what makes it more difficult is that a potential employer has sent me 3 job descriptions matching my experience and i cannot apply until visa is granted! frustrating! saying that we havent sold the house as yet so should tie in pretty well by the time i get my visa..
lets keep each other up to date on progress.. Good Luck

Hi Suzee, we will be submitting our application form on monday so the long journey awaits us both!!
Just wrapping a few loose ends up before we visit solicitors tomorrow for him to certify our docs etc but one quick question for anyone reading this post, do we need our statements of genuine relationship to be signed by solicitor (or other witness type) as well as our own signature & date?
Thanks in advance..
