I'm the one that would cut of my right arm for a visa.australia is a fantastic country.you can really make a fantastic life for yourself.you have to put a lot of energy and effort in life to get the best out of everything .im a strong believer that the settling in period is between 2 and 5 years. ( not 20 days) when emergrating .time is a great healer hang in there and please give it more time.i live in the uk.i went to oz in 1997 on a 1 year holiday visa fell in love with the country.my biggest regret was returning to the uk.but i am looking at visas for me and my family.my advice is you only get one shot in life .life is not a rehearsal just give it more time a couple of years then if u haven't settled then go home .goodluck hope u stay.

Thankyou so much for replying to my post,I am very grateful for the advise you have given me.i will run my case past a registered migration agent,even thoe i dont want to use onecan we just go on my partners occupation a print finisher which would require a state sponsorship.i will go on the immigration website and do more research.thanks

HI ,I would like to know which type of visa i should choose as me and my partner and 8 yr old daughter are wanting to move to oz .i am a teaching assistant.my partner is a print finisher.i am a little confused on what visa to choose.i am not married to my partner.will this affect our visa.my partner as family also that live in sydney.i have travelled round oz in the past on a years visa so i know what to expect.there are many questions i need to ask.like what if i get my visa ,and i havent sold my house.how does the visa system work.do they give time to sell everything once you recieve your visa.i really would be grateful if someone could forward on as much information as possible.as we r applying for a visa next january.we have decided not to use a agent and do most of the research our selfes with the process of our visa.the points system is 65points is that for one visa?.thankyou.:chatterbox:
