Hello all. I'm new here so do apologise if I posted this in the wrong place. I'm currently on a WHV although I've taken a few months out to pop back to the UK, and it doesn't expire until dec 23rd. As I'm a nurse I had to have a medical in may last year before this visa was granted. It was a long process due to the fact I was treated for latent tb in the past. Thankfully my visa was eventually granted in September. Anyway I've just been offered a full time job in Melbourne and they want to sponsor me. They want me to complete this before I arrive back in Australia in August. My question is, if I were to do it offshore would I need to have a medical again because I really don't want to go through all the hassle I had last time. Or could I go on my WHV and then get the 457 once i'm in Australia? Would I still need a medical?
