Just an update, andrewneville We received out visa grant on the 30th Jan, dont know when our meds were finalised can only assume the same or previous day. Regards Leslie

Hi Shabo I received a notification from skillselect that my EOI was removed and the grant letter at the same time.

Thanks Paul i received an email this morning, it was no use chasing up CO. I think you should send an email just to find out if he needs any documentation from you? Who knows maybe he'll respond with the visa grant:wink:

Hi sj1111, Thank you. I didn't ring them at all, I emailed them initially and received a reply that meds have been referred. I tried two weeks ago and received an automated mail, advising to contact CO. CO advised in Dec that I have a "few more weeks to wait". None of my statuses were ever updated and this morning just received the email.

I got my visa grant this morning. Meds Done 30 Oct Finally uploaded 12 Nov Meds Referred 13 Nov Finalised???? Grant 30 Jan All the best to those waiting :hug:, I am sure that it will be your turn soon. Regards Leslie

We were also told 6-8 weeks when we were notified that it was referred. I received an email from my CO in December that said: "a few more weeks"...and how long is a piece of string, anyhow. I mailed the CO in Jan and received a response " that I am following up with GH and will let you know once I know more". Today we have been waiting a total of 77 days. In the meantime , I'm driving myself crazy!

Thanks for sharing your news, andrewneville. We haven't heard anything yet, but your news gives me a bit of hope. We've been waiting 10 weeks already. Seems like the turnaround time is about 12 weeks at this stage, but hopefully less people were referred during Nov, Dec, Jan and processing will start moving faster soon. I'll keep you posted.

Mine were referred due to previous hospitilisations, but there are many people on here who do not know why they were referred.

Hi andrewneville My meds were referred in November 2012 and were back then advised a realistic timeframe is 6 - 8 weeks. We are past that time and still waiting. There are still waiting from October 2012 and some has been advised that it could take 3 months.
