  1. Hi everybody. This is not for me as been living in Western Australia for over 5 years now and loving it. My nephew is returning to Ireland on the 5th or 7th of February to marry his girlfriend and wants to bring her back to Australia with her 2 children to become a permanent resident. What form/s does he need to apply for Thanks for your replies if i get any
  2. Hi all just wanted to celebrate with all of you that our spouse visa was granted on the 29th of August 2013 so now i am a permanent resident of Western Australia YIPPEE. I have three questions and that is this. As i am a Brown now and not a Shepard do i have to get a new passport even though i won't be going back to the UK as i have nothing there to go back too. How much would a new passport cost Will medicare send me a new medicare card with Brown or will i have to call them. Why i am asking you these two questions as Centerlink needs to have 100 points before i am entitled to sign on and that would be my passport, medicare card and my marriage certificate Many thanks Mrs C Brown
  3. Hi all. Just wanted your opinion of this copy before i send it to the immigration. As you can see i have deleted my clients name, client id, Application id, file number and visa grant number from the copy Would appreciate if i could have your comments To whom it might concern I/We are just inquiring how far are we of getting our decision about our spouse visa I/We were granted a partner (Temporary visa) (Class UK ) component of this application and that a partner ( subclass 820) visa was granted on the 16th of January 2012 We have been married for 2 years and got married on the 5th of June 2011. The office who is dealing with our spouse visa is Melbourne. Yours Faithfully Mrs C Brown (Shepard)
  4. I/we hope not as this waiting has put us both in a lot of stress. Is there a e mail address or phone number that i could use. Have tried vevo but some reason its not working for us. Its Melbourne who is dealing with our spouse visa
  5. @Quinkla you say The key date is the 2nd anniversary of the lodgement of your application 2 years ago (not the grant date and not your wedding date). That is the date you become eligibile for stage 2 grant. Many second stage grants seem to happen 3-4 weeks after that anniversary date. The date is now 5/08/2013 surely we would have heard from them by now
  6. Thanks for that folks. All this waiting is sending mine and husband's blood pressure sky high as its a very stressful time waiting to know about whether the visa has been granted or denied. i have another question do they let you know about the visa by e mail or by letter. @Rupert will remember that
  7. Hi all. My husband and i have been married for 2 years on the 5th of June and have sent all the details that the immigration board asked for, for the second phase of our spouse visa. We are still waiting to hear from them whether our visa has been granted. How long does it normally take to hear from them also is there anywhere i can contact them to ask them about our visa.
  8. Hi everyone. Phil and i got married in Western Australia on the 5th of June 2011. We applied for the spouse visa on the 12th of June and heard from the immigration people on the 30th of June that our visa was granted and gave us a bridging visa. We should be hearing from them either May or June to see if they will grant a permanent spouse visa so then i can become a permanent resident of Western Australia. My question/s is this. (1) would they accept if my husband sends a copy of his will showing that all assets will come to me when he dies instead of sending them a joint bank account or both names on a utility bill as we have not got either of those as my husband does not wish to do this until the spouse visa has been granted. (2) We have been told that if they ask us to send my passport to them it means that my spouse visa has been granted is this true. (3) when they interview us do they come to see us, or hold the interview by skype, or do we have to go and have the interview in Brisbane as that is where all our papers are. Many Thanks and Kind regards MrsCBrown
  9. Me and my husband are in the second stage of our spouse visa we will know the outcome next April or May My question/s is what sort of proof will they ask or need to help them with there decision. also would we have to have a face to face interview with them. regards Mrs C Brown
