My Parents applied for Aged Parents (804) in 2009. Unfortunately, My Dad who is a secondary applicant was diagnosed with Cancer and he is undergoing treatment . One of my friend's parents who also applied in 2009 received a letter from DIAC for Medical asseessment. My paernts may be receving one soon. Can anyone advise if my Dad'd Cancer would impact on my parents medical assessment considering this is just a preliminary investigation and they don't expect to get a decision within next 10 years atleast. I beleive there will be final medical assement before grant of visa.
