  1. My parents applied for 804 Aged Parent visa in Oct 2009. Unfortunately, Dad was diagnosed with Cancer within 6 months of applying for visa. In 2012, Department contacted us for health & character assessments for garnt of queue date. Case Officer made a data entry error in the email address whic caused the delay for initial assessment. My Dad could not pass the health checks. Mum passed health & character assessments for grant of queue date. The application was refused by the Department in 2012 due to Dad no meeting the health criteria. We filed an appeal with the Tribunal (AAT). The AAT hearing was postponed due to Dad's ill health. Dad passed away this year in Feb after a long battle with Cancer. AAT remit the application to the dept. Our requests for showing compassion to grant a visa was totally ignored by AAT & Dept. Now Dept has put my mum in the queue but we got a queue date of feb 2017. Can someone please advise when my mum met the requirements for the grant of queue date in 2012 (should have been 2011 but due to dept error email for health checks was not received) then why she is pushed in the back of the queue?
  2. RickyD, The best way to investigate this issue would be to go through Freedom of Information Process. During this process they can tell if any applicant in 886 FS catgeory applied in 2009 received a case officer.
  3. For 886 FS Applicants their Sponsor should be able to complaint and Vote if they are Australian Citizens.
  4. No hope for FS applicant's. 885 is still moving but 886 FS is dead. Did anyone tried complaining to Opposition Minister of Immigration or any Fedral Minister other than Immigration?
  5. I think the website was started by this Guy named Bowen Li and he was talking about protest at the immigrayion office is Sydney and legal actions. You can also make complaint against David Harvey with MARA if you have any solid proof against him.

  7. I wonder why after collecting money from people there is no action taken by David Harvey. He received 70 contributions but there has been no update on Legal opinion received for taking G% case any further. I don't see any latest updates on the website. I think it is just dead.
  8. My Parents applied for Aged Parents (804) in 2009. Unfortunately, My Dad who is a secondary applicant was diagnosed with Cancer and he is undergoing treatment . One of my friend's parents who also applied in 2009 received a letter from DIAC for Medical asseessment. My paernts may be receving one soon. Can anyone advise if my Dad'd Cancer would impact on my parents medical assessment considering this is just a preliminary investigation and they don't expect to get a decision within next 10 years atleast. I beleive there will be final medical assement before grant of visa.
  9. The E-mail from DIAC clearly states "These higher priority applications, along with family sponsored skilled migration applications already allocated and currently in an advanced stage of processing, and applications lodged outside of Australia prior to 1 September 2007 (in visa subclass 496) will take precedence over other priority group 5 family sponsored skilled migration applicants." Out of 4200 place avilable: - Higher priority group cases (For example Group 4) will get priority and get processed out of 4200 - Cases already allocated under FS category and in the advance stage of processing will occupy some of the places out of 4200 - DIAC also have to keep some places for applicant's applying this financial year under Family sponsored stream It's looking like a very dull hope for FS onshore as well as offshore waiting for CO allocation.
