1. Hi. Yes as I didn't have enough work experience then hairdressing was removed of the list. That was 2012. So we now want to try again
 2. Hi all, advice needed. I'm a hairdresser and I run my own salon. I'm looking at the 190 visa and just starting again on this journey. Any advice?? I've ran it for three years and been hairdressing since 2009. Do you think I'd pass all the relevant tests we would be moving out as a family and leaving our eldest at university help please

My question is that i am a self employed hairdresser looking to emigrate on a 176 visa, i have gained my city & guilds nvq 2 back in 1997 which i have since updated with the new nvq 2 and level 3, I'm now confused as the Australian skills assessment say i need to gain a AQF 111 but i attended a expo yesterday and they say my uk nvq 3 would be recognised. Has anyone else had any advice on this matter,if so can you help?? I then contacted TRA to ask them if i need to get AQF and their reply confused me even more! I'm just trying to save on the cost but if i do need the AQf then i'll have to apply.

I have also booked in for my IELTS test and I'm not sure on how difficult it is as i need to get a Level 8 for my points. More help needed!!

If anyone can shed some light on any of these issues id really appreciate it as my mind is baffled!

Thanks cheryl
