Hi all, advice needed. I'm a hairdresser and I run my own salon. I'm looking at the 190 visa and just starting again on this journey. Any advice?? I've ran it for three years and been hairdressing since 2009. Do you think I'd pass all the relevant tests we would be moving out as a family and leaving our eldest at university help please

If you can that would be fantastic...I feel I need any help available. I'm trying to save cash by doing it alone. Who news to sign it then?? Thankyou x

Thanks for your advice,I really appreciate it. It's so hard sometime to know what to do. The top and bottom of it is that my quals are recognised but I don't have 3 yrs post quals! It's so difficult. I was unsure on how to do the stat dec...so I just wrote out my whole job and what I do on a daily basis. This level 3 and time is so annoying x it would be great if there's another hairdresser out there that's done it and can advise me x

Well after my TRA outcome I one have to wait till oct 2013 before I can reapply as I need more time post qualifications. Gutted but at least it wasn't a no.

Got mine today.....gutted again!!! L 7.5 R 8.5 W 8.5 S 8.5 We need all 8s and I'm so annoyed that I've missed out on .5 of a mark!!

Hi all, I'm in need of help!! Just got my letter back today stating the reasons why,I have been working as a hairdresser for just three years. Qualified level 2 15 yrs ago and then qualified level three in oct 2010,this is not long enough apparently??they also say I haven't given enough evidence of my self employment from the last 2 1/2 yrs. Also my statutory declaration isn't correct. Am I correct in reading that I have to pay again to get it reviewed?? Any advice would be greatly received :arghh:

Thanks so much everyone,I'm sure it's worth it but it does make you think a little....I suppose that's why it's made so difficult to get there. I'll keep you all posted on the outcome x

Phoned them at some ungodly hour this morning to be told that the letter has been sent and I'll just have to wait.....more torture!!! Im Also getting Ielts results on fri!!!! This is not good for the stress levels....please tell me it's all worth it or should we give up now???

Thanks for the advice ,I'll give them a call tomorrow. It's hairdressing...I was so gutted yesterday. Never mind,until I know the full reason I'll stay positive. If its meant to be,I'll get there!!
