  1. Too this sorry, ill be on an Evisitor for the 3 weeks im there, throught all the information ive told you, and used my WHV already. Do you see why a 676 visa is what we are after for the registering the relationship too?
  2. hi thanks for the reply bma, We can prove we have spoken and kept our relationship going every month by phone calls/emails/sms/video calls and these are everyday we did this. So we proven commitment to our relationship, ill be going in 4 weeks for 3 weeks. I've lived with him for 9 months prior to this july 11 to march 12. I have a bank account open in my name still from then which i opened up there addressed to his house, i have doctors bills in my name with his address, ebay items ive bought in my name with his address, my learners license in my name with his address, card & gifts from family over seas in my name with his address things like that. He bought my first flight over to be with him paid for in his name with my name on the ticket. Yeah we was looking to get a visa which would last for 12 month for the relationship registering in vic. We don't know any other way other then this (the 676) we just want to get as much evidence for the Partner Visa. My not working for that year is fine, something we have to do and not that big of a problem, he is happy to support me until we can finally get a visa however long it may be till I can work.
  3. Hi all, Looking on the immi website. Im not sure which visa I should be applying for. Ive filed the 'find your visa' and it came up with Evisitor, however looking back last year my parents went out for 3 weeks on a ETA visa. So seems I can go on both? Ive looked at which countries are eligible adn they both say United Kingdom or United Kingdom - British Citizen which I am both. They both say about staying for up to 3 month so im a little confused , any help please x
  4. Thank you for the replies. I guess your right I will see once I get the visa issued I think 90% chance Ill get it but hey....gotta do what immi want Just wondering the funds id need for the 12 month visa, I do have my partner fully supporting me so i dont really need rent/food bills. He can prove this and right a declaration.
  5. I have read all above and thats brilliant you were able to do this Just a bit confused by that, i can prove i lived at his address for 8 1/2 months if i fly back on a 12 month visa (I have been away from him for a year though) are you saying I should just apply when i hit the 12 month of showing we 'co-habitated together' ? How would the process make it longer for me do you mean? as it should be fine after im there say 6 months into the visa and then apply? Did you have to both go in person? Was they not that 'bothered' that it was only a tourist visa you was on and had to come back home?
  6. HI all, Just wondering.... I have been to Aus from July 2011 to March 2012 on a WHV (i didnt extend this). I want to apply for a 12 month 676 tourist visa to be with my partner and tour Australia a little more. I was wondering as Ive been to Aus recently i think i would be presented with a NFS on my visa, what do you all think? If I asked for a 6 month 676 visa would it have a NFS also or not due to my travel history? Anyone else been in this situation and would like to shed some light please? I hope i wouldn't as if we would like to apply for a onshore partner visa but if not me coming back to the UK and applying for a offshore partner visa is fine. Thank you.
  7. Hi Miauw From reading your thread I am just wondering how everything went? I am looking to go down this route too for the evidence of living together. Did you easily get a 676 12 month visa and what did you have to send/prove? do the ask for a certain ammount of money. Did it also come with a NFS on it? thanks K x
  8. Does this mean if i go out on a 12month visa i still cant apply for this ? Can anyone who is from the UK get this visa or is ti saying only Australians people who always live in Vic can get it and there would be no chance of me being eligible?
  9. Thank you for the reply. Yes I have read this also, more on the ''you can both prove that you are ordinarily resident in Victoria'' im not a resident there but one day hope to be im from the UK and my aussie partner is still there, and as i wroter previous we been together for nearly 3 years but only lived for 9 months.however I have read on another site that its ok if one person is living in Aus and the other in ta different country but can prove we lived together and are still together. Not sure if this is wrong then or is it? here is the website http://www.melbourne.vic.gov.au/CommunityServices/RelationshipDeclarationRegister/Pages/RelationshipregisterQuestionAnswers.aspx
  10. Hi all, Just been told about this plan. Has anyone done this recently? Just was inquiring me and my partner lived together for just under 9 months and now im back in the UK my OH is still in Aus. We have officially been together since July 2011. If he were to register our relationship can he do it without me being there? and with only that time living together, many thanks and id love to here similar stories
  11. Ahh i see, as you all can probably tell Im asking so many questions about different methods and visas. Just want all my bases covered. I will have to find a migration agent to advise me, heard they can be costly. I would only want too see if its a possibility ..is there any who can give advise for free and if you want to pursue that idea then pay?
  12. Thank you for the reply. think your advise would be best and asking the Australian Misson do you know how to contact them what there email would be please? I have only bills due to owning my card thats the only thing with my name on and letters / presents whilst i was there on my bday & christmas that were sent too me so im not sure it is enough. I have pic of me with his family n they can vouch i was there and that we are a couple also that my mum n family flew over to visit me Thank you K x
  13. Hi Sdavis that could be possible maybe but would the joint bank accounts they look for we don't have. I opened a bank account in my name addressed to his house have letters from the bank, I have my learner lisense addressed to his house also cards sent to us at Christmas etc does this prove alot? Postage from UK etc or would they look for more in evidence like that. I don't know if I'm just gonna have to go for 1 year n sort eveything there. I just don't wanna lose my job or waste money when we need to save for visas if that is gonna be no help to us. As after the year I would have to come back and save again for the offshore partner. from what I wrote now and previous would they need more evidence or defacto what things would they need for it
  14. Hi all, Thanks for reading, just looking for some help and im not sure if it is in correct forum (sorry if it isnt). Im looking to go to Aus on a 1 year/12 month 676 visa. Im looking online to book flights, however when I book for may 2013 - may 2014 it wont show any further than Feb 2014. Im not sure if I have to take it up with the airline myself or has anyone dealt with this themselves what what you did? Do you have to book the latest tickets on the website then change them when im over there. But how would I know im able to change the ticket as some are unchangeable I would lose the money. I just want to make sure i have a return ticket to show immi and on my visa application so I dont get ti refused. Thanks
  15. Thanks for the quick reply! Oh brilliant gives us hope yet! Was there a form he had to declare n write or just explain on the visa form be enough? Thats if you know the details
  16. Hi all, Just wondering if anyone has gone to Aus on a 12 month long stay 676 visa. This will be the best option for me to visit my partner for a long stay i have used my WHV already. My partner will fully support me being there and I dont have huge funds myself, would this be a problem? Could my partner write/declare he would support me there for the whole duration? I do have around $3k but earns enough to support us both. Would this work? Has anyone else been in this similar position? Thanks
  17. Pretty much out of the question he has a daughter to someone else, plus he has a really good job and own house. I have nothing here to trie me down like that so best option would be me going there
  18. Hi thanks for the reply, Im currently still in England due to financial reasons and I came back as my grandma died and my auntie & other nana whom im very close is is very very sick who could infact pass away any time. Not sure if i could prove this to immi or they would understand why im here for her maybe last few months.
