  1. For Sale; 1998 Honda HRV Sport, 3dr hatchback in green. Electric windows, sunroof, alloy wheels, CD player, central locking, 4 good tyres, licence paid until January, ready to go. We bought this car off a friend who drove it all the way from Sydney, we have owned the car for less than 5 months and its been used everyday and proved faultless. We have driven to Kalgroolie, Hyden, Bunbury and Albany and the car has not missed a beat once. We are only selling as we are going back to the UK in 2 weeks so we would like an quick easy sale. My friend had it serviced prior to us buying it so he had the oil & filter changed, timing belt & auxiliary drive belts changed, new battery, new spark plugs & air filter. The engine is spot on, starts first time and I have not put a drop of oil in it since I bought it. The car as a few minor marks around the body, but nothing major and could probably do with a good clean depending how fussy you are, I've kept it reasonable over the last few months. A tank of fuel used to last me 3 weeks and that inc a 15min commute everyday and a trip somewhere at the weekend so it's very economical. And just to add its semi permanent 4wd, so when the front wheels lose traction & grip the rear wheels start to drive and get you out of a sticky or slippery situation. The only thing I'm not sure of as I write this advert is the KM's (278km's approx) on the clock and the size of the engine but I would think its a 1.8 or similar. Feel free to call me, email me or PM me and I will find out any more info you need to know. Car is located in Midland, Perth. This is a cheap car ready to go, not beaten up like all the other pieces of rubbish out there and 100% reliable & cheap to run. Open to offers, quick sale needed!
  2. Thanks for all the advice guys, it's been a great help and we have taken it all on board. We have gone with wridgeways now. We was happy with there service so far and there quote was very competitive. They are collecting our goods on the 9th of September and then we are off to Sydney for a few days and then home from there. Looking forward to getting home.
  3. G'day, can any one recommend a shipping company that can transport a small amount of furniture, possessions and a tools kit back to the UK from Perth? regards, joe
  4. Hey Guys, 1st post and I'd really appreciate any help or advice you may have.... its looking like me and my girlfriend are moving back to the UK from Perth and we would like to ship our furniture back, the personal possessions we can't get in our cases and my tool kit. We don't have a lot of furniture or possessions, a 20ft container would be far to big for us. Can any one recommend a shipping company? I have had a quote from Keys Bros based in canning vale which I thought was reasonable but I've never heard of them, has anyone had any experience with them? Cheers
  5. Hi evryone, This is my first post. Me and my girlfriend are hopefully moving to Mackay, Queensland in january next year. I have got a job offer and I am just waiting for the contract to come through now, and hopfullu after that it will be a case of processing the visa. I am just after some advice on where to get your private health care cover from. I tried BUPA this morning, but they could not offer me the policy I wanted. I would like the policy to start when we arrive in Australia. Does anyone know of a company that I can deal with whilst here in the uk? Many thanks, Joe
