I landed in the 10th feb and I just got my unrestricted on the 26th June

Ho all especially to AJ that's me been and done my veet training in Adelaide and passed, been to the government house and applied for my unrestricted trade card that will take between 10 days and three weeks to arrive in nsw, then need to change it over to a nsw licence, got to say though that was the most stressful 10 days i had to go through, i recommend to anyone going on that course to get their books early and study because its full on, so much for all your doubting but that's it finally done :biggrin::biggrin:

HI there not posted for a while been busy working away so just a we update. That's me been booked onto my peer veet for my electrical wiring course in june. I was wondering if any one had the australian wiring regs on PDF to give me a look at before my course. I will be getting the books when I get to my course but was just to give me a heads up before I get there, that would be great, cheers.

I don't believe that u have done your ewp or have any high risk licence, I know what I sat were and when. Go to my twitter page and I will show u I'm not trying to con or rip people off 'bphbhoy' if u add me ill show u pics of my certificates to prove I'm not talking crap.

Aj when was the last high risk course u done and what ones do u have.

Colin you don't half talk crap for my forklift and ewp I had three days of training for each of them with 75 questions and a practical on the last day so it would seem u are the one that hasn't got a clue. It's actually funny reading the crap u write it makes my day lol, think u should go and have a lie down and give your brain a rest. :biglaugh:

Yeah I'm for real I wouldn't come on here and talk **** or try to kid people on. I wouldn't like it to happen to me so I wouldn't give out false info to try and con people, your right about the right time and right place if I hadn't spoke to livethedreamaustralia I wouldn't be in oz just now and I'm not trying to plug the company, I've got no shares in them lol but they did get me here within a year. We are in singleton just now Paul, small we town but got everything in it that we need couldn't ask for much more.

Just a wee update on my time in oz, that's me been here 4 weeks and its been great, still waiting to be booked onto my artc but been kept busy with getting my tickets for my high risk licences and doing all the inductions to be able to enter the mines, it's like been back at school but I can complain. A lot of studying required but as the say no pain no gain, the more tickets I can get the better.

Well I'm enjoying it just now, not started work yet though lol. Will see how that goes on Monday although I have two full weeks of training but I am looking forward to it.

I came on to this site to try and help one lady and all youse guys have done is tried to shoot me down saying I'm trying to plug a company, youse all talk the bullshit not me and probably put people off trying these things out for them selfs if u don't have anything to say shut up and give my head peace. I do love the people out there trying to tell me what lies I'm telling get a grip. I wish I could post some pics on here to show me and my family in oz enjoying our new life. Get it right up youse.

Love u guys on here u just haven't got a clue. Sitting in my house in singleton, Medicare sorted, bank opened, my son now enrolled in school and starting on Friday, got another few days off then start work on Monday. Happy days to all u.

Well I'm sitting in my hotel in parramatta waiting to go and pick my rental car up to drive to singleton where I will be meeting my branch manager at my new company house so believe what youse want.

Well we all touched down in Sydney on Friday morning oz time, staying here to Monday then driving up to singleton, got a week off then start work on the 18th of feb. can't wait to get into it. I know people on this site think I'm a bullshitter but I have to thank livethedreamaustralia for the work that they have put in for me and getting me to oz.

Didn't get over before Christmas as we had hoped, ended up getting delayed due to paper work but after having our last Christmas and new year with the family we are now all ready to go, our flights are now booked and we leave on the 6th feb ariving in Sydney on the 8th. Woo hoo.

Got my results from my medical today all fine and dandy. Just waiting to get booked on to my artc course, all my paper work been sent to Australia so should hopefully hear this week or next then my flights will be getting booked. Not long to go now, still plan to be in Aus before Christmas, Christmas dinner on the BBQ.

Everyone on this site is so negative not one well done just people trying to call me a liar, that I'm just making everything up, I don't care about anyone else getting a job or they can't find work in Aus. I guess I must be one of the lucky ones that can find a job, right place at the right time. I only care about my opertunity and my family's.

Well for all those doubters out there that's my visa getting processed with a moving date been penciled in for 17th November. Can't wait for the big move to down under. For colin unfortunately I don't get the Porsche till my second year lol.

Basic 76k aus, with 8hrs over time a week 96k with bennifts too, whilest I'm in Sydney doing my training living rent free then an allowance for my rent when I move to my branch in singleton, they are a hire company hiring to manly the mine industry

If u can't find a job thats not my fault but I know that I've signed my contract and are just waiting on my visa to be prossesed. I'm going to be working in hunter valey, singleton, nsw. I'm not going to be an on site electrician but a plant electrician, I've had Skype calls with the branch manager and met with the operations manager in London. They had interviews with electricians, machanics and other trades in London and Ireland, so why they are not taking on people from Aus you would need to ask them. If u want to give me your email address I will happily show u my contact to show that I am genuine.

Yes I'm genuine, wouldn't want to try and scam anyone, yes I must be one of the dumb people that is paying a recruitment company as u said people would do anything or pay anything to get there, if it wasn't for them I don't think I would have the job that I have plus they do all the paper work and the fee includes my visa payment for all of us. All the other recruitment company's that I looked at all wanted a fee and livethedream were reasonably priced. They have done everything they said they would so I think it was worth it. Australia here we come.

Hi there all just a wee up date got my contract for my job in Aus, signed and sent back just my visas to sort now, need to get a passport for my 5 week old boy, going to Sydney first to do my training first then up to singleton to start a new life with my wife and two boys.

As to AJ's points I know it could end at anytime but it's not like a 6 month job it's classed as a permanent job, it's the company in Aus that are putting me through my licence not the recruitment company and yeah fair enough you may be there before me lol. I can assure u I'm a genuine and nothing to do with recruitment company. Hi jeanette the fees are about £3500 with £300 up front and the rest in two installments as the process goes on. Not sure about training as I haven't done it yet not sure if it's going to be here in uk or in Aus will find out this week and I'll let u know more as I find out. It's a genuine post, yes there are fees but at stages of the process, yes the company I'm going over to work with are taking my family over on the visa too wife and two kids, the job is a perement job with them putting me through all my training and qualifications, might seem to good to be true to youse but I know I'm not telling and lies. If you don't try you'll never find out they also have another electrician going over to the same company. I'm guessing all company's that they deal with have different set ups but this is what I'm being offered. I'll leave a new post when I know more about my job offer. Oh and I'll be in oz before youse lol.

Hi there I'm in this situation although mines going well I'm a 30yo electrician and going to Aus on a 457 visa. I dealt with a company LIVE THE DREAM and they have been great started with them in feb this year and they deal with everything from finding u a job, a bank, moving and sorting your visa. I have found them to be great. So good i am getting a job offer this week and hope to be in Aus by Christmas it all seems to be going great and faster than I thought so I would give them a phone, they have changed my life they could change yours too.
