  4. Am am not sure someone told me that they could buy a business employe x2 Aussies and after x2 years they would have PR, I just wanted to know if anyone knew anymore about it so I could research it and what it's called
  5. Hi, am in need of some help and lots of advice for my parent, to get PR in oz, I have lived in oz myself and family for the past 18 months with PR, my sister her husband and their 3 children moved over on a 457 visa and are in the process of paying to get PR, this is is my parents second visit to OZ and they have decide that they would also love to move (very early days) but we are not sure on how they can do it?? We have been told that they could buy a business employ x2 Aussies 4 2 years and get PR after that, and also a so a parent visa?? if anyone could please give me some advice on the above 2 or another way it would be much appreciated!!! thanks in advance cowan86.
  6. Thanks everybody, just told all the family and some were surprised and shocked whilst the majority said they knew we would move back, so we are all looking forward to it, and them all meeting their new grandchild/niece or nephew for the very first time!!! My 3 year old having her grandparents and lotS of cousins!!!! Count down time now!!! :0)
  7. Yeah, I like Australia but I don't love it, and I just feel that it isn't for us as family, we wasn't unhappy in England, we just wanted a better life for our children and we feel that we could do a better job in England!!! (If that makes sense ) really looking forward to Xmas in England u can't beat it!!! We have a very large circle of family and friends who are all very old fashioned and traditional and enjoy a good old fashioned english Xmas!!! My daughter and new baby will just love it!!! i would come back for holidays to oz as it really is such a beautiful place!!!
  8. Hi everyone, we finally have made a decision to move back home in time for Xmas!!! myself, husband, daughter and the new baby (due in sept) will all fly together beginning of December and enjoy a big traditional family Xmas together, I will be staying with my parents for 6 months whilst my husband flys back after Xmas to close up and earn decent money for a deposit back in the uk, we both feel that we all enjoyed England a lot more than oz and that we were all happier there as a family, i feel like a massive weight has been lifted and I already look forward to getting home and settling down with my little family!!! :0)
  9. We would be living with my parents home, so we wouldn't be spending a lot of money in the uk, i will be going on maternity leave for 6 months, am not just thinking of myself am thinking of my 3 year old having family and friends that were a great support when we lived in the uk, she hardly sees her dad here and is with me most of our spare time and knowing we would be able to give them both more stability after 12 months was my point of moving back to the uk without my husband.
  10. We are both under a lot of strain at the moment (We haven't said two words to each other in the past two days) like passing ships!!! He left for work yesterday at 5.00am retuning just before 5.00pm shower, dinner (with an overtired 3 year old) daughters bedtime then mine not long after!!! So life is hard here at the moment and with him saving harder and working 6-7 days a week is it best am not sure!!!
  11. Hello I came on here a few weeks ago and was undecided about moving back to the UK, We have made a decision that we want to move back to the UK, perth just wasn't what we were expecting, we both work really hard and long hours, by the time the weekend comes we have to play catch up, washing, cleaning shopping etc, we have a 3 year old who attends day care full time and is struggling at the moment behaviour wise, I think it is down to boredom myself daycare everyday then out shopping etc at the weekend, we do take here out for a few hours on a Sunday park etc, but we are all so tired all the time, plus am expecting our second child the end of sept. now this is the problem, I want to move back ASAP as I just can't stop thinking of home, my daughter would start school nursery sept and we miss family and friends so much. but my husband won't be able to come now as he earns a lot of money here compared to the uk, and if we want to go home he would like to pay off a huge chunk on a house, so I can go now with my daughter, and settle in back at the uk and my daughter starting a stimulating school nursery, and having the baby without my husband with me!!! (Which I think I will really struggle with) he would fly home for Xmas, and then back to oz to continue earning and saving hard!!! He estimates to be home in just over 12 months of saving hard! or I can stay here with my husband saving hard but having to pay rent etc, having the baby here for a lot longer than 12 months my husband will be working 6-7 days a week for over 12 hours!!! I am stuck either way, staying in oz missing and longing for the uk, but being without my family and friends and having a much. Longer wait to start over again, or return to the uk start to settle and set up again having a much shorter time frame of being a home owner again etc, but being without my husband for 12 months or so, him missing his 2nd child's birth and a good part of their 12 months and his 3 year old missing asking for him all the time (which she does everyday when he's in work) as you can see I don't know what to do for the best, time is running out I can only fly for a few more weeks!! Anyone who has been in the same position etc i would love to hear your advice, or anyone willing to share some good advice please share!!! thanks.
  12. I know I don't know why I wasn't honest with people I was even lying to myself, we do speak about it but its very early days and he thinks it will settle down, after some time, me on the other hand not quite sure?!? Thanks for the reply.
  13. Hi everyone, just looking for some advice, it was my idea to move to perth it to years and cost a small fortune, we have lived here for 10 months now and anyone you spoke to would tell you I love it, but the truth is I don't, I miss the uk dearly, we have a huge circle of family and friends that everyday I think about, my 3 year old daughter talks about them all the time and asks when we can go visit i work in childcare and it is so hard, the ratio of staff 2 children is a lot lower here than in the uk and the hours are much longer, I am also 15 weeks pregnant which does not help the situation, My husband on the other hand is a bricklayer and quite enjoys the work here and the money 2. my parents have just been to visit and since they returned to the uk I have been so depressed I can't stop sleeping cant eat, have no motivation and a really short fuse, I think the penny has finally dropped that there is no place like home, and you can't replace family and friends!!! i long to see the old building listen to history of the past, the long summer nights, shop in marks and Spencer's with my mum and aunt!!! I voiced this to my husband for the first time last week and he was really shocked, we are both in two minds but deep down I think he misses his family friends and seeing our daughter grow up with her family like we both did and have the happiest memories!!!
  14. We have been in Perth, 4 7 weeks now we stayed with family,if we didn't have any family to stay with we could not of afforded the cost of hotels etc all of which really expensive, We have our own rental, at the mo which is lovely, my husband is a brickie and got work straight away I on the other hand never, still looking and it's drivin me mad, u get help with childcare depending on your visas which is a good help, wages are a lot more than the uk the food is a little bit more expensive but nothing to bad, furniture is good tho around the same price if not cheaper, U just need to be driven, and determined to want this, and very well organise, research research research and save save save the more money you Hav the vpbetter off you will be, and as soon as u start earning dollars that's the big difference, louise.
  15. Yeah we had been out to a friends and it was late, my daughter asleep in the car as we took her out must of slipped r minds to lock it, it's just an awful thought someonne being in r car, freaked me out a little, since am from Liverpool I thou we had over come stealing,:mask: (never had anything stolen in Liverpool but it was always around) going to get CCTV installed and an alarm fitted in the house and the car, Yeah sure as I said I don't have a job or a car and when the weather is awful, am bord out of my skull!!! So will be on here a few times a week, But am opened minded keen and persistent so shouldn't be much longer,
  16. Well 7 weeks ago we landed, my husband walked straight into a job as a brick layer I on the other hand not so sucsesful been applying for everything and anything whilst I wait for my childcare qulifacations to be changed to ozzy qulifacations, Nothing at all, and finding a place for my daughter in nursery is just as hard!!! We have landed r selfs a beautiful rental, a week into to it r sat nav was stolen out of the car :em4600:we haven't seen any wildlife maybe since its winter, The ozzy's I can't quite place my finger on them!!!! Yet!!! And it gets really cold of a night time we have had to buy heaters for every room, The food stores do not have as much variety as England but its not. 2 bad, The mall are really good tho with plenty of stores, But still learning a the ropes very much so.
