  1. Hi The coyne Family,

I don't think you have answered incorrectly, I did the same thing and after reading your post it got me worried. I went on line as if to do another application just to check. There are three setions one after the other

    -Migrating Dependants

    -Non Migrating Dependant

    -Other Family Members

At the top of the page-this is what it says

Provide Details of ALL your family members where appropriate. You are required to provide details of the following family members.

    -Your Parents

-All your brothers & sisters(including half brothers or sisters)

-All your children (including children from a previour marraige/relationship)

-All your other dependents (including any dependent children of a dependant)

Our print out shows the same as yours but that was because we never had any NON migrating dependants to fill in. So it looks like

    NON migrating dependents-then directly underneath

    Other Family Members

Hope this helps ,I don't want you to waste time sending in a form to change something which appears to be correct in the first place.

    Regards

    Veronica

    Hi

Is this in respect of the main applicant only (in my case my OH) or do we need to put all of my family on the form too?

My brain has gone to mush now!

    Thanks

  2. Hi all.

My OH has just had his Level 1 from Vetassess today (v exciting day!) and has just signed up for the practical test in London.

Can anyone who has done this give us any tips or guidance on what he should swat up on please.

At $1500 don't want to mess it up. How can they charge so much money per applicant for a1 day exam???!!!

All advice will be greatfully received :em3600:

    Thanks guys

  3. Any electricians in NSW who can help with what the procedure is?

The fairtrading website is not very helpful!

My husband is getting his skills assessment by vetassess - I think this is for immigration purposes only?

Do we then need to apply for an ARTC (what is this?) or just do the MACG (Minimum Australian Contect Gap) training?

Surely it would be far easier for each state to just list what the procedure is rather than each and every one of us having to try to suss out what to do??!! Seems unnecessarily complicated!

    Help appreciated!

  4. Hi

    Thanks for your response.

We're hoping to live in NSW so maybe we just have to wait til we get out there.

What is the pay like whislt working supervised for the 1st year?

Is it a lot less than when you have your full licence?

    Thanks

    Selina

If your going to live in SA the only course he can do from the UK is at PEER training & you can do the distance learning pre course this is a workbook you do from the UK then when thats all completed he sits the 5 x day course at PEER in SA thats the only way it can be done you cannot at this stage transfer that license from SA to another state so say if you intend to live in WA forget it for now you would have to wait until you get here then he would have to get on a course to gain the pre electrical license then do more exams for the full license.

  5. Hi Mark

Your thread was really useful as my husband is applying for a 176 visa and doing his vetassess.

Do you know if there is a course he can do whislt still in the UK or does he need to be in Oz?

Do you know roughly how much he can expect to earn whilst working under supervision?

    Selina
