Hi I have filled in the required forms on-line as well as uploading all the relevant documents so that we can take our motocross bikes to Australia with us but because we couldn't decide on a removal company we didn't have the letter to send with the application!! we have now decided on the removal company and sent all the docs off but we have been told that it could take up to 20 working days for us to get the docs we need to import the bikes but the problem we have is the container will be arriving in 19 days!!!! has anyone had the forms through quicker?? Hi, Has anybody managed to get a Buy to let mortgage on their UK home when moving to Oz. I have tried 2 mortgage advisors and worked on the basis of honesty is the best policy and told them my situation and every mortgage company that both advisers use have said they wont go near me because I am moving to Oz. I have seen it in magazines and on the relocation TV programmes that they say to rent your UK house out if you can afford it but never heard of a company that will do it?!?!?! Has anybody had the same situation or managed to get a Buy to let mortgage in my situation?? Or do I simply accidentally forget to mention the fact I am moving to Oz? Please help!

Hi Myself, partner and baby (currently 8 months old!) have booked our one way flight for the 9th October!!! We are renting our house in the UK out so are looking at shipping our stuff in a container around the end of august then living with parents for a month!!! I was just wondering what everyone kept with them for the last month especially with having a baby and all the restrictions on airlines with luggage!!?? Lou xx

Hi guys Can anyone tell me what the script is with a sponsored job offer?? If i get offered a job and get a temp visa can I take my boyfriend with me on the temp visa or does he need to get his own visa? We are looking at all options at the mo and our residency visa would have to be applied in my name as I am the one with a trade!! Any advise guys would be great. Please help!!!! Louise

Hey guys has anyone had problems with the skills assessment? My agent is telling me that it is a concern that when I did my apprenticeship as a hairdresser it only took me two and half years rather than three or four years which is what Australia want....... please help is my agent just fobbing me off if so I will go elsewhere! We are 27 and 32, I'm a hairdresser and my partner is a flooring contract manager. We have no children and have saved up a good sum of money to take. If we do it ourselves is it self explanatory? We both work full time at the moment so does it need a lot of free time to do it? Thanks louise
