  1. For all of those who have case officers. How long did it take to get a confirmation e-mail asking for further info.

My application status changed on tuesday but I have had no e-mail. Should I contact diac?

    Mummy man,

My TRN showed application being processed further on 07/02/2012 however the email only came on 16/02/2012... And the CO will update the 1st page as soon as he/she sends the email with the requirements. Just wait for it to come.. Calling DIAC doesnt help as we did the same..

    All the best

  2. Woke up this morning, checked my online status and.........I've got a case officer!!!!!!! :0D. SGandGH Please turn me PINK!!!!!!!!!!

Everything is showing as met apart from evidence of work experience. I have not received an e-mail yet requesting more information, maybe they will call my manager to confirm my employment as I have read in other posts that this has been done before.

Good luck to everyone still waiting for a case officer and visa, your time will soon come xxx

Yay!!!! congratulations and hope you get your grant soon...Hoping the same for myself....

Even my work experience shows pending and i have submited all docs relating to that however still a lot of other docs also show as requested for my OH but we have already submitted those.. Our agent says that is not required so we are just going by what he is advising...:mask:

  3. We have completed the medicals yesterday and sent the PCC and form 80 to our agent so that he can send it to our CO.. The medicals will be updated by today evening by the clinic...

  6. Hey people,

We got contacted by the CO today and they have requested for the medical, PCC AND FORM 80.. Medicals are booked for the 20th... There is a lot of stress on the work related docs as they have asked for all docs related to payslips and tax however the work ex is only 3.5 yrs and if they omit any experience bit we will be in a soup..

Pray everything goes well on the work ex bit...:arghh::goofy:

  7. Wohoo!

Great news! I was contacted by CO for the very first time today and I was informed that I met the requirements for 175 and my initial entry date is July 2012.

Heads up to everyone. I'm a 16 June 2011 applicant front-loaded Police Checks and Meds.

    Question:

I already replied to our CO and asked what are the next steps we should do. However, I can't wait for an answer and would like to ask you guys based on your experience.

    CCCCCCCCCCooonnnnnngggggrrrraaaatuullaaaatioooooooooooonnnnnnnnnnnsssssssssss!!!!!!!!!

Awesome start to the week............ So start packing...

  8. Hi All,

Was after a bit of help please...... I've applied on 175 visa under myself with all the points coming through me. I was wondering however how they assess my wife's english as i have read that she needs to be at a certain level. that isn't a problem in itself as she was born and raised here my only thought is what do i need to upload as proof of her language ability as i want to have everything ready for when i finally get a case officer and not be asked for more info at a later date!

    Thanks in advance all!

No expert at this but either she can show her educational certificates that her mode of study was in english or give IELTS...

  9. Friends,

We have "Application being processed further" added to our online status.... Guess we have a CO allocated however all our documents show required yet....

Awaiting the CO email for medicals and PCC and our agent has confirmed that he has still not got it so probably in a day or 2.

Once our agent confirms receipt of the email we will do the medicals as the PCC is already with us, so it just has to be uploaded by our agent.

Finally the wait coming to an end...:jiggy:

  10. The update is not that good, but at least they're offering an explanation:

    Important note:

N/A denotes 'Not Applicable'. There are no GSM visa subclasses within these priority groups.

    ** Not currently allocating.

A high volume of Priority Group 4 applications were received in May and June 2011. Whilst cases continue to be allocated per week, the limited movement of allocation dates reflect the high volume of applications received during this period. The affected visa subclasses are:

    • Skilled – Independent (Migrant) subclass 175

    • Skilled – Sponsored (Migrant) subclass 176

    • Skilled – Regional Sponsored (Provisional) subclass 475

So now at least we know why and we don't have to speculate anymore....

You are right Heidim, The speculation will be put to rest.

  11. Hi

I applied for GSM 175 and have appeared for IELTS in June 2011. Can someone confirm that you need IELTS only for the primary applicant and not for dependents?

My understanding is that for dependents, only "proof of english language ability" needs to be shown, which can be college certificates showing the medium of instruction was english. But as the date of CO allocation approaches, I am starting to doubt everything I am doing... someone please allay my fears!

    Regards

    ind175

I am not very sure if the "college certificates" will do. In our case our agent confirmed that the main applicant has to give academic IELTS and score 7 and above in each individually and overall, however the other applicants needs to give general IELTS and score above "5" as it is a measure for functional english. We had applied before July1, 2011 so am not sure if regulations have changed after that.

  12. Awesome work SHandGH.. And all the best for takin up this responsibility.. Hope you get ur visa grant seamlessly for doing this generous deed like Tania and Bpremji.. And hope this tradition continues as long as it is needed.. _)))

  14. Hi guys, unfortunately no news for us. =( I follow your posts every day in hope I would hear some good news and some more June applicants allocations but it's so quiet here! CONGRATULATIONS to BPremji, best of luck mate!!!!!!!

    No movement yet:arghh::arghh::arghh::dull:

  15. Thanks for the advice guys.....

So here's what I did....agent forwarded me the details of the documents that needed uploading...went home yesterday lunch time to grab the documents...scanned them in and uploaded them myself...also asked the agent to forward me a copy of the initial email that was sent, so I could email the case officer directly and guess what....just checked my application online and....

    APPLICANT APPROVED.......

Strangely it says next to each of our names it says message and when I click through it says I will need to have a visa label put in each of the passports but not a problem as I'm due to be in London next week anyway...

Our initial entry date has to be before 26/09/2012.

Thanks to all who have helped these past 10 months, I can honestly say i wouldn't have been able to do it without your help...

My next thoughts turn to the thread and the spreadsheet, if anyone wants to take over, PM me you and I'll give you the details of what needs to be done, hopefully someone will take over as it would be a shame to stop now, saying that I'll be around for a bit yet....

For all you gus who are still waiting, chin up, your turn will come soon....

Congrats Bpremji on ur visa grant... As people on the forum have said time and again that his has been a very strong support system for all who have waited for a CO and grant.

I personally would not know what is happening on my visa and gone paranoid if i wud not be able to view the spreadsheet. It gives hope that there are others who are sailing in the same boat and that our turn will come soon.

Thanks for keeping that hope alive and maintaining the spread sheet... Big thanks to Tania also for maintaining the previous thread and hope someone comes along soon who can maintain the thread...

  16. Guys....

Great news (I think)....just checked my application online and it says Application being processed further with today's date against it (30th Jan)...

On the second page it's showing as everything is Met except for My evidence of work experience and both my sons birth certificates, which were definitely uploaded.....strange...

Anyway as I've gone through an agent I suppose I'll have to wait to hear from them to see if anything else is required...

    Great start to the week.....

Congrats Bharat..... Awesome start to the week.... They are getting to the lower end of June applicants...hurray...:jiggy:
