  1. In your case your agent will get an email from the CO asking for the remaining documents like meds, PCC and form 80 if you have not FL them. Your visa page will show email sent and the date.

Hi Stacey, same for me as well, since I checked with my migration agent in Melbourne as well, they have yet to be contacted by my CO and have told me to just sit tight and wait for any news.

Any of the experienced folks in here can offer some advice on how do we know if a CO has been truly assigned? Just in case my migration agent is not around when DIAC calls or something

  3. Bloomberg,

Its really unlucky for you to still not get ur Pre grant. We also applied at the same time as you and the ABPF happened just a few days before (as per ur signature) yourselves after which the grant came within 10 days..

Hope things get processed faster in your case as i can understand the pain and angst this can cause... Wish u all the luck for a speedy grant...

Thankyou! Not had medicals yet and would need to sell the house.

By the way has anyone else had the message on their application "an email has been sent regarding your application". Not actually received an email though.

    Jambos,

Once u have an email sent to u written ur agent will get the email the same day or the very next day for additional documents/PCC/medicals.. Just check with ur agent...

  8. Have you had no contact from a case officer either since your status changed to ABPF???

I'm sure they used to contact the applicants within a couple of days after the status was changed. I can't understand it!

I have been expecting my ward manager to tell me they have received a phone call for job verification but not heard a thing :0(

I think this part is worse than the months waiting for a change in my status. Feel so close yet so far.

I agree this is the most traumatic period...but when u get ur grant ur ecstatic...

  12. Hi

Just wanted to up date where we are, medical have been received and finalized , police checks received & finalized with everything else met

but still no visa.... the suspense is killing me !!! Cant help think is something wrong !

Sailing in the same boat... and the same pain..

  13. I work for a large global organisation and DIAC contacted the HR department directly, not through the contact details of my manager who signed the proof of employment letter. I was hoping to keep my plans between my manager and me as I intend to get atleast another few months out of them. Hey ho, slightly intrusive but never mind at least they can prepare to advertise my job.

Even I work for a large global organisation and they may do the same in my case...however I have kept my HR informed of the same so no qualms...

  14. Why do DIAC ask for verification of work experience? I thought that everything was submitted at point of application????

    Jambos,

They want to make sure that all the experience is post qualification and nothing has been done part time.. a tough cookie in these matters..

  15. yes please, and also tell me the estimated time the DIAC is taking to review the form 80 from HR coutries.. would be great if you could tell me.

    Helloomer,

As you are from Pakistan you should follow "HR applicants where are you now" thread as all applicants are from HR countries like Pakistan, BD, Iran etc.. They have longer timelines than other HR countries... If i am not wrong the TAT is around 8 - 14 months as the security checks take longer than other countries.

  18. Important Note - only for INDIAN Married Guys PCC

guys when ever you required to go for PCC.

What most of Married guys are facing is ,

they don't have spouse name in each other passport.

So they are not even allowed to make application for PCC.

First they required to make new passport for them.

and this new passport requires lot of task like

--Need to fill change of circumstances.

--Need to get new PVC - Police Verification Certificate Again

    Good Luck guys.

    Thanks

    RakeshPatel

I applied for my PCC in dec and don't have my spouse name on my passport however I got the PCC without any hassle.. I have even submitted the same to he CO.
