  1. Hi Ronak219,

We have applied on 1st of Aug. CO asigned on 8th of Dec. We were asked for additional info etc. Now we are waiting.

Hi Jo2004. What additional info was asked? I haven't heard anything from CO. Not really sure anymore if my case was already allocated. My agent said it was DRC and that it was already allocated but it has been 3 weeks since the "supposedly" allocation to CO and nothing. No word from agent. He is not responding to my email.

  2. Hello ,

this is insane, Melbourne office has not moved 3 days in last 10 das.

I applied for Stage 2 and 3 on 4th of august. no word of any movement or case officer been assingned. Is anyone here herad anything who applied in month of august

Is your application and nomination DRC? What did your agent say?

  3. If your CO has to verify an aspect of your application it might take time. Or CO is on sick leave, not sure about holiday. I phoned them today and they informed me that they remain open all working days over the Christmas/New Year season.

Nice to know they will remain open over the Christmas/New Year season. I hope my Co will make a decision by January.

  4. had CO for almost 3 weeks now but no update yet, I wonder what's taking so long for a decision. My app was lodged DRC last Oct 27 and got CO end of November. Is this normal for a CO to take more than 3 weeks from time of allocation to make a decision?

  5. Just received an email from Parramatta - sad news! Our application is a non DRC, despite a colleagues exact same application approved in 5 weeks! That means if they are looking at 11 July RSMS applications now we would be allocated a CO by mid April. This is hopelessly late for my son's university starting beginning of Feb as a domestic engineering student in the city we stay.

Hi! how did you know your application was treated as non-DRC? did Pararamatta tell you that?

  6. Sorry to jumpin here ,,just going through the horrible waiting time as u all no about ,,we had lodged on 4 nov all complete ,got acknowledge ment 21 nov ,,I'm told by my agent that it takes a month from lodging to get a case officer ,she has told us 4/6 fast track processing ,,till a decision ,,,so goin of this 6 weeks from 4 nov is mid December ,,,anyone else been through same timeline ,we are goin on a 119 sponsorship, job is waiting ,,any help is gratefull ,cos waiting is killing us .

Hi! we lodged our RSMS 119 on 27 October just a week ahead of your. Our RMA informed us our application has been assigned to a CO last week. Hopefully Co will make a decision before Christmas.

  7. A colleague did his by himself and after 4 weeks got it. To save money I followed the same. Many applicants (even on this forum) had theirs approved as DRC even when the applicants did not do it as such.

Let's hope our applications will be as lucky as your collegue. Are you onshore or offshore? mine is offshore RSMS 119. Lodged at Parramatta.

  8. Same boat as you - 20 Oct. I reckon if we don't hear anything by Dec 1 we are considered non-DRC.

Did your agent say that your application was filed DRC or non-DRC? We almost have the same timeline. Lodged nomination 15 sept (DRC) and visa app 27 Oct (DRC). No news yet if nomination was already appproved. Emailed my agent but no reply.

  9. I am a little concerned whether our application will be processed DRC because when our RSMS 119 visa application was lodged (DRC), the nomination was not yet approved. The nomination was lodged in September 14 (also DRC) and then our visa application was lodged end of October (also DRC).

How long does a DRC nomination normally gets approved?

  10. Hi! Just wondering if those who applied RSMS 119 DRC and those who applied non- DRC have these phrase in their acknowledgement letter? My agent said they applied DRC but I just wanted to know if the acknowledgement letter for DRC and non-DRC application are the same.

    Processing your application

This email confirms that your application is progressing. If you do not hear from us for a while, do not be concerned. Applications are generally processed in the order in which they are received. As a guide, it is expected that most applications will be finalised within five to seven months when all appropriate documents are provided with an application. When applications are more complex or documents are not provided quickly, the application may take longer to finalise.

Please be aware that the department may make a decision on your application without requesting additional information. Therefore you should provide us with all the information you feel is relevant.

Information is enclosed which may be relevant to your application.

Certified Decision Ready applications will be allocated within 10 business days of lodgement. It is then anticipated that the case officer will assess the certified Decision Ready application in the week following the allocation. If these applications are in fact decision ready, it is expected that most will be decided within three weeks of lodgement.
