  1. Hi all

I just wondered if anyone has recently gone through a RPL as a Business Analyst with the ACS?

I'm currently in Brisbane on a 457 visa with another 12 months before I can apply for PR and avoid a skills assessment. I have the necessary 8 years experience to submit the RPL but have read / heard that it's a bit of a nightmare. I thought that the RPL would focus on demonstrating practical application of one of the Knowledge Areas from the CBOK; for a BA this is primarily the Problem Solving and Modelling KA, but having read the form it looks like they want you to demonstrate knowledge across all of the Knowledge Areas.

If anyone has been through it recently and got a positive or negative outcome, it would be great to hear from you.

I'm really in two minds as to whether the effort and cost of the RPL is worth out, or if I just stick it out for a further 12 months on the 457 and hope DIAC don't change the rules.

    Thanks

  3. Hi everyone,

We have been living in Victoria Point for two weeks now, so far we love it. Just a few state school issues but other than that, we have settled really well.

Was just wondering if anyone fancies meeting up? My husband is at work all day and Im not working at the moment. I have two girls, a 5 1/2 year old in prep and a 3 year old (cant manage to get her into any childcare at the moment). I have a car so more than happy to travel.

If anyone knows of any good kids playgroups in the area, that would be great too.

    Holly x
