    Cheers

  2. Hi, all.

How are you today. Just got a call from Fragomen (agent office) that my 186 ENS just got approved. No idea when CO was assigned and how it was gone at all then just got result from them.

    1. It took just 69 days from 11th of June this year. Lodged to Parramatta office.

    2. Fragomen didn't update me how it was going till now (actually updated me like 'Even others got PR sooner, that doesn't mean you are (or can) be one of them' only when I asked).

    3. Decision ready

    4. Temporary Residence Transition stream

To be honest, whenever they called me, it was always a kind of bad news. As I wrote, my job description had to be changed according to last year July policy so they warned me like some of people like me were rejected / withdrawn. And there were some other calls so this afternoon when I got that number then hearing voice of my agent- I was really afraid what she would say. Then she just said 'Your visa has been approved' and that was all.

Anyhow, I am so glad to see my wife cries for this while it was her who really wants to have it for her study as well as my 1st son's kindi application (which costs 5,000 AUD without PR).

Thanks so so much to all of you for cheering me up. Wish you good luck and I definitely believe all of you will be fine since I, as a kind of 'bottom' one, could get PR eventually.

It is just a Monday so not sure if I can drink, phew. ;)

congrats mate really happy for u... I applied a week after you so I'm looking forward for my approval... Good Luck!

  3. Just a quick question, I'm applying for PR through Direct Entry, my employer lodged my nomination on 19/06/13, I've heard nothing back about my nomination, but was wondering what is stopping me from submitting my application prior to getting the nomination approval?

Application is good to go - I have a positive skills assessment, done the pre medical, excempt from IELTS testing and have all the police background checks to hand. I was wondering if my application is in the process would it then speed up the application any bit?

You can lodge your application and it will save you processing time as your application will already be in the system when your nomination is approved.

    Cheers

  4. Just a quick question. My nomination was submitted 28.3.2013 and approved 16.6.2013, the nomination approval email / letter had a case officers name/email on (the submission just had the generic email address on), does this mean this is my assigned case officer?

My application has been in a month now (had to wait for my skills assessment to come back before I could apply, it took forever!) and have still not heard anything from this CO, does anyone know if the CO who approves your nomination goes on to be the CO who assesses your application?

    Thanks

    Kirstie x

Not necessary it depends if you have lodged the nomination and application together then there is a chance that same visa officer looks at your application after approving the nomination. But in your case you didnt lodge application with your nomination so i am sure the visa officer will be different. Just ring DIAC to check for the progress of your application.

    Cheers

  5. Hi

I know it's not something that can be specifically answered, but provided the application is submitted correctly with supporting documents etc what is a "normal" time to go from application to grant?

Looking at the first posts compared to the later ones, things have speeded up for the ENS 186 route - is that correct?

    Thanks

yes the process has been speed up and there are many applicants who applied in May have got their visas so hope for the best.

    Cheers

  6. Saqibqu ; Thanks for comment. Yes, I really wish so. The thing is I have to send my elder son to kindi next year and have to pay 5,000 AUD if I don't get PR soon, haha. My agent keeps saying (even this Monday) that 'others can have earlier approval but that doesn't mean everyone can have that'. Well, that can be true but our minds are not like that, right? :) Finger crossed!

yes if others can get it early we can get it early too :) i am expecting anytime now.

  7. Hi,

I have a few questions about the 186 visa. Does DIAC require the work experience (electrician) assessed by assessing Authority?

If not, what is needed for DIAC to prove the work experience?

How they are strict about this?

    I'm from HR country.

    Thanks for help.

It depends which pathway you are taking if you are applying thru 'Transition Scheme' then you dont need a skill assessment as your 2yrs on 457 will be enough. But if you are apply via 'Direct Entry' then you will need to get a skilled assessment from the relevant authority. I am not sure if you need skill assessment on 'agreement stream' or not.

    Cheers

  8. Hi there Guys , just wondering if anyone has experienced the following , put all my PR application in via ENS 186 , the first part ,being the employer nomination has been granted , however it is now 4 weeks on and still no PR ??? second part , most of the people I have heard of going this route , they have had PR (second part ) granted within just a few days of first part ( employer nomination? ) I thank you all in advance !

Thanks for sharing your timeline. I applied one week after you so keep me updated if you heard anything. So far i have not heard a word.

  9. Hi guys,

I would like to drop a few info based on 50 timelines on another forum:

    • Average number of days between a visa application to visa decision = 143 days (max # of days = 247, min # of days = 12)

    • Average number of days between a CO assigned to visa decision = 12 days (max # of days = 55 days (me), min # of days = 0)

    • Average number of days between CO ask for doc and visa decision = 9 days (max # of days = 28, min # of days = 0)

We have seen a large number of cases with a decision taken within 2 months since April 2013.

Just thought you might like this data.

Congrats on your visa buddy finally the long wait is over for you.

And thank you very much for this data.

    Cheers

  10. Another update from me!

Nomination application lodged (non DRC) 12th March 2013

Case officer assigned: 17th June 2013

Asked for extra documents (training requirements): 24th June 2013

Sent extra documents: Weds 3rd July

Company nomination approved: Friday 5th July

This was all Non DRC. Now just my application that I am using a migration agent for. Will keep you posted with that and will get to see the time difference.

    Louielou

Thanks louielou for the update. Has your MA submitted your application yet or are you still in process of getting docs together ?

    Cheers

  11. Hi Saqibqu,

I am a newbie on this forum. Mine was lodged by MA DRC for Transition Stream too on 25 June 2013, both Nom & Visa App. Receipt for payment same day.

Did your agent upload all the supporting documents at the same time? Mine did not do so, she said next week after the system is up and running again. Is it too late and will that not make the application "valid", as in incomplete without the docs attached?

My agent also said that at this stage, DRC or not does not matter due to the large number of ENS applicants, it could take 4 to 12 months to get PR.

Here's hoping that we don't have to wait that long...,fingers crossed.

    Thanks.

    Hi Chaz,

My application was DRC and MA uploaded all the documents together. It shouldnt be a problem because your MA will load it next week anyway and in between if they review your file they will send your MA an email asking for more documents so dont worry about it.

As far as timeline is concern it was taking maximum 9 months for those who applied around July last yr but what i have seen so far is that DIAC is processing application very quickly these days, i have notice 3 ppl who applied in May have already got their visa. And one other friend applied in mid May and CO has been assinged a week ago asking for more information his application was non-DRC. So i think 12 months is too much even 4 months seems alot i would say on average it takes 2-3 months. They definetly give priority to DRC and these application processed quicker as no more docs are required.

Which visa office you applied in ?

lets see what in store for us keep us updated!

    Cheers
