We moved over from the UK to Eatons Hill in January and we love it here. We aren't on the doorstep to the Tavern either and have not experienced any problems. We love the family feel to the suburb and even though it initially took my 7 year old a little longer to settle into school than we anticipated, he has made some lovely friends. My four year old absolutely loves it here.
I like the fact that it isn't too close to the city but close enough if you need to get there, my hubby does the daily commute and it takes him 50 mins. I've been there via train and was surprised how quick and effortless the journey was. If you do decide to settle here, give me a shout and perhaps we could meet up.
