  1. Anyway back to the topic at hand.

I'm sure none of these organisations or any person wants to put down any healthy animal. But do they have a choice.

Particularly with cats, the RSPCA gets absolutely inundated in Spring with hundreds and hundreds of cats, and more coming all the time. They get more than they can possibly rehome.

And most people come in and obviously only want the cutest cat/kitten or dog/puppy.

So what are they to do. Many animals may be healthy but are not cute or very affectionate and never get chosen by people.

I think the RSPCA always gives a good amount of time for animals to be adopted, at least a month or two, but really I think they have no choice but to humanely euthanase some animals.

If you refuse to go to the RSPCA or support them, you just make the problem worse.

Wasnt this one of the reasons behind the whistleblowing? Animals getting put down for no reason.

Along with them not using enough resources in trying to rehome, and just trying to prosecute people willy nilly?

  2. Here's one.

I moved to oz to live and work having never visited(partner had seven times). I have bought a property and have been in full time employment since landing. BUT I know Australia is just not for me. I would much rather prefer living and working in the uk. Unfortunately the work isnt there in the uk and neither is my immediate family.

Dont get me wrong im not unhappy(though I was for at least the first six months) I just think the uk is a much nicer place to live in many different ways.

Also having said all that,we will probably end up living in oz the rest of our lives.

    **** happens!

  3. They are not planning to emigrate just go on a WHV so why not, not everyone has the same opinion as you and you are not always right

Jesus why dont you bite his head off whilst your at it,its only his opinion,no biggy.

  4. I ask mate because only you know the position you are in. Look at worst case scenario, you end up back home starting all over again.

    Is it worth the risk?

Most people would say "go for it".

    Good luck

  5. Just read this thread. I didnt know you had these forum guides. Was thinking the other day about what a good job Rupert does replying to peoples posts/questions.

Its definately not a job I could do,I have no patience with people.
