Thanks for your reply. I know honesty is always best, just hoping for someone that maybe going though he same thing. It wasn't direct voilence to another but just to gain entrance to his house. But still, this behaviour not necessary! :rolleyes:

Please I would really appreciate some advice! My brother recently applied and was granted a one year working holiday visa ... Since then he has been in a bad relationship and his ex is out to get him. He is being given two cautions one criminal damage the other violence to secure entry. :confused: As I'm his sister already living in oz, I was not impressed to say the least! Questions: if he accepts these cautions should we declare them even though his WHV has already be granted? Would this show up somehow through his passport or entry into Australia? If he was to ever apply for a perm resident visa would these effect it? I.e show up in police clearance etc. and as it's just cautions are they more likely to just be acknowledged but not really included? ( if that made any sense!!) open conversation ion and looking for answers! Thanks in advanced!:cute:

Hi, We moved to Perth a year and half ago on a 176 perm residence visa and live in Mullaloo, Perth. We now want to have another baby but have heard so many different things about having a child in australia! Afterall, its not like back at home with the NHS! I am looking for as much information as possible and even someone that has been in my situation. Do we become citizens automatically if we have a child? Is the child automatically an australian citizen? What do we have to pay for? every apt? scans? Do we receive a payment for having a child? Is the process the same as in the UK, 12 week scan, 20 scan, get appointed a midwife etc etc How do I go about getting the child a british passport so we can return to the UK if we want? Maternity leave and pay? Be grateful if someone could help and get in touch for a chat! Thanks Jo
