  1. Hi all, I'm currently going through the process of obtaining a visa. I've received a positive assessment from VETASSESS for code 224999 (Information and Organisation Professionals NEC), which isn't actually what I applied for (Management Consultant). To give a bit of a back story, I was initially rejected by VETASSESS as I didn't have enough work experience when I lodged my application even though I had worked in my job for a couple of years (I was a mature student, I graduated in July 2015) but I opted to be reassessed after July - and got the positive assessment as I had completed over one year of work after graduating. So now I have a positive assessment from VETASSESS, which is great. Unfortunately no States are sponsoring this occupation at the moment. The migration agency I'm using said to put forward an EOI for New South Wales as they've heard that they will 'select and invite a limited number of the highest scoring skilled candidates in occupations from the broader DIBP CSOL'. This seems like it might be a long shot. I was wondering if anyone had any other suggestions? I'm guessing I don't have a lot of options. I currently have 70 points, when you include the 5 given for State sponsorship. I'm 32 (turn 33 next August, which means I will lose 5 points). I took the PTE test in April and scored 100% (90/90/90/90) so I gained 20 points from that. Any help or advice is appreciated. Many thanks, Dan
