Originally from the UK, we have lived in Canberra for 11months and now moving to Perth.

We would really like for us and especially our son to meet some friends before we move to make the transition easier for him, as he is alittle reluctant!

I thought the 175 had changed. OK so they have agreed to take over my 457 but cant i then apply for RSMS once with them? Or would i be better applying for the new 175?

I'm looking for the quickest way to get PR?

I'm currently on a 457 but I'm changing employers in the next few weeks. We currently live in Canberra but moving to Perth.

Should I consider changing to RSMS or 175 or should I stay with my 457 for now?

Any advice, personal experience or suggestions will be greatly appreciated.

Does anybody know what the time lines are like for these visa's?
