Hi all
I'm looking to sell my property in the UK - its been a consideration for a while and with the new CGT rules coming into play, it makes sense to start the ball rolling. My issue is that I am here in the Australia, the good news is my father is in the UK.
So my question is, what is the easiest way to give my father power of attorney so that he can deal with the house sale in my absence? Is this also the best way to proceed? I can deal with lawyers etc from here, but it just seems that it will be a lot easier this way. Plus he has plenty of experience in buying/selling property, more than I have, which also helps.
Any advice would be gratefully accepted - thanks in advance!
