I think they lied to you... Because I come to know that Online application takes precedence... (some internal sources).... Wallahualam...
Hi Bro, any news? Have you contacted the consulate after that?

but they have seen them today and called both of my references to cross-question. Is this normal ? .
Seems that these embassy guys are acting efficient which is a good news indeed, but wait where are the grants... I havn't heard many grants in the last couple of months from Islamabad.
U seems quite near mate.. All the best.

When did you apply? Usually CO only contact applicants when they want more docs/info, PCC, medical etc, they don't update applicants at all stages so I think you should sit back & relax. If they need any further docs for sure they will contact only you. If you are a Female Applicant then you should get your grant between 6-8 month, however, 12 months is the standard processing time.

Hi AGB,
Yeah we did apply on 2nd of Feb 2014 as female applicant. CO further requested for biometric finger prints on 20th May 2014 which was submitted the next day. Till than have not heard any thing nor have any interview calls (which depends on the CO to have or not). Medical & PCC was uploaded upfront and every month we still uploading the evidences in terms of Skype chats and gift envelopes etc. so that we shall cover ourselves (just to keep oneself content ). Yes, the best thing is to sit & relax which we are doing. Fingers crossed ..
Thanks.

Hi guys!
Any updates? Any one who recently corresponds with the AHC? What is the feedback? Haven't heard any thing for the last two months after submitting biometrics.
Called the AHC two days back and same old answer that if any thing additional needed , we will send you an email and the standard processing time is like 12 months and cant tell you when it will be sorted.

Just someone random from the department.
I hope that this good news come soon.
Last month they told us that probably online applications would take more additional time in finalizing than the paper based applications.

Guys...
One suggestion for both of you... Just call through the embassy and ask them the status...
My wife call through AHC (Isb).... and they gave us a good news that your application is in final stages and you'll be informed about the outcome "very very soon"...
Hi ammjan,
Just a quick one. Have you talked to your CO direct or just someone random from the department?
Cheers

Hi Guys,
We recently contacted the department first time via email in 7 months and this the reply which we got I am pasting below for you guys to have an idea.
"Thank you for contacting the department.
I will take this opportunity of correspondence to confirm that processing
time for all partner applications is 9 to 12 months. The time taken can
vary from case to case.
You will be contacted by a case officer in coming months for interviews and
further assessment, however a two months time frame does not seem
plausible.
I trust the above is of assistance.
Yours Sincerely"
... Last resort is to wait ...
