  1. Hi Guys, We recently contacted the department first time via email in 7 months and this the reply which we got I am pasting below for you guys to have an idea. "Thank you for contacting the department. I will take this opportunity of correspondence to confirm that processing time for all partner applications is 9 to 12 months. The time taken can vary from case to case. You will be contacted by a case officer in coming months for interviews and further assessment, however a two months time frame does not seem plausible. I trust the above is of assistance. Yours Sincerely" ... Last resort is to wait ...
  2. Seems that these embassy guys are acting efficient which is a good news indeed, but wait where are the grants... I havn't heard many grants in the last couple of months from Islamabad. U seems quite near mate.. All the best.

  4. Hi AGB, Yeah we did apply on 2nd of Feb 2014 as female applicant. CO further requested for biometric finger prints on 20th May 2014 which was submitted the next day. Till than have not heard any thing nor have any interview calls (which depends on the CO to have or not). Medical & PCC was uploaded upfront and every month we still uploading the evidences in terms of Skype chats and gift envelopes etc. so that we shall cover ourselves (just to keep oneself content ). Yes, the best thing is to sit & relax which we are doing. Fingers crossed .. Thanks.
  5. Hi guys! Any updates? Any one who recently corresponds with the AHC? What is the feedback? Haven't heard any thing for the last two months after submitting biometrics. Called the AHC two days back and same old answer that if any thing additional needed , we will send you an email and the standard processing time is like 12 months and cant tell you when it will be sorted.
  6. I hope that this good news come soon. Last month they told us that probably online applications would take more additional time in finalizing than the paper based applications.

  9. @ pippa01: Many thanks for clarifying me the meaning of 'Engineer'. @Northshorepom:I have coursework + thesis degree of four years in Electronic Engineer and been assessed by the Engineers Australia for the Professional Engineer. Many thanks for you advice and will definitely be looking around the areas you have mentioned.
  10. Hello forum, I am planning to be in OZ land by the end of this month on Visa 176.. I have been working for 3 years in Building Engineering Services back in my current residing country. I just cant be able to figure it out the following: a). If I need to have any sort of affiliations from any body for be able to work in this industry in OZ land? b). Is there any exam to be passed before being eligible to work in this industry? Any positive replies shall be highly appreciated.
