I've been living in Aus for 2 years on a Sponsorship visa (457). The visa ends shortly, so I'm leaving the country for weeks, during this time I'll be switching to a WHV. I have the intention of working as a midwife when I return, for a few months, in the same job I've worked in the last 2 years. My question is, will I need an up to date medical? Or do you think as I've been working in the job 2 years and have current registration, I won't need one?? Anyone been in this situation?? Any advice welcome!!

Hi Guys! I'll be starting a new job in Randwick in March..... I absolutely love Manly....... does any one know if living in Manly and commuting to Randwick is do-able?? I'll be driving and I'll be working shift work, so should miss peak hour traffic. Do you hit a toll road on the way?? Any advice welcome!!!

Hi everyone. Can anyone give me some advice.....! I'm currently on a 457 sponsorship visa which is shortly coming to an end. My plan is to switch to my WHV so I can travel oz for a while. Has anybody done this?? My question is, how long did your visa take to be granted? Also have any nurses out there done this?? Did you have to do another medical examination (I have current APRHA registration and currently work as a nurse). And lastly, were you able to submit the application online?? Thanks!
