Hi, I have been reading and reading and still cant seem to find exactly what i'm looking for so heres hoping some lovely person will be able to steer me in the right direction.:cute: I hold a NVQ 2 IN catering from the Bounemouth College in the u.k, i have 9 yrs experience as a chef in the U.K working in 3 and 4 star hotels and AA ROSETTE restaurants. I am currently looking to apply for the skilled nominated subclass (190 visa) but the first thing is who do i contact in order to get my papers recognized/converted/changed/assessed whatever it is that need to be done? I am currently living in brisbane and i am struggling to secure any form of employment i mean i have tried cafe's,restaurants,hotels,but nothing no one up here seems to know what im talking about /care when i show them my c.v and experience only question i get asked is do i hold a AQFIII and i say no, then they say thanks but we will get back to you??? then NOTHING EVER!!!!:cry: Do i go through TRO? Vetassess? I have tried with skill select here in brisbane .I sent certified copies of my certificates, my c.v but to no avail, just got a snotty letter back saying that they have no idea what I'm talking about and my best bet would be to go back to TAFE and do the commercial cookery III could someone ple point me in the right direction as i am really struggling to keep my nerve, i just wanna be able to work again:arghh: MANY THANKS FOR ALL YOUR HELP
