Hi everyone, its been a while
Back again for advice. My husband was going through an agency about 3 years ago and we got to the stage of the TRA application. This was delcined due to missing employment details which we had provided, so we left it there due to the agency not accepting this but wanting us to pay again and also family issues at the time.
We would love to start this process again but unsure where to start. After speaking to the agency they have gave me the costs from scratch so anything we previously paid can not be taken into account.
My husband is 37 we have no children or health issues and he did complete a AQF3 as a fibrous Plasterer which is his skill with over 14 years employment in the uk. We would be looking at a 189 skilled residency visa.
I really just want advice if it is possible to do this myself (being a bit blind to it all) so I am saving the £1500 agency fees which we can not afford, especially when we have already paid them about £800 that is now lost.
As far as I can see he has to apply to the TRA to get approval, sit a English test to help with the points then we can look at the visa application with heath checks and police checks.
It's obviously not as simple as that sounds but just want some advice if anyone is going through this with similar concerns as any advice would be much apreciated so I can establish if we are being decluded and need to leave it to the experts to help up and suck up their fees.
Thanks in advance
Louise
