<p>To be fair, it isn't so much the work, I enjoy hands on again, but its the shifts, earlies, lates and nights, my kids are not used to me doing shifts. for the last 10 years I have worked Mon-Fri 8-5, so they were struggling. Not home when they are going to bed and working weekends. Came for the better life for us all as a family and shifts are killing me. The ward I'm working on doesnt particularly get much private, we have lots of veterans, but is very different to the uk. Applying for jobs with daytime hours to suit my kids. They are my number 1. But good luck with your AHPRA and job hunting. There are loads of jobs advertised all the time. Look at queensland health - public, Ramsay health is the biggest private, you've also got the mater-look on their website. Dont expect AHPRA to sort registration out quickly.
