Hi Everyone,

I have recently migrated to Sydney, Australia. I am an Australian citizen who grew up many of my years in London. I am starting to look for work as an IT Support Analyst within Sydney. I have 2 years experience working in this field having worked for Swarovski in the last year.

Does anyone have any personal contacts / friends / recommendations of people working in IT recruitment?

Congratulations Christian! I have the same CO and applied a week earlier yet no response yet which is rather frustrating. Can I ask, did DP contact you or was it one of his colleagues?

Woohoo! my partner and I have just been granted the Subclass 100 visa! So excited, we can now get all the planning underway. We applied from the visa on the 12th March and we had DP as the case officer. We are leaving London on the 25th November to go travelling around Thailand for 3 weeks and then will arrive in Sydney just in time for Christmas and the new year

Has anyone else been granted this week? I applied on the 12th March so have just reached the 7 month mark and still waiting. Here's hoping for a grant soon. The wait is excruciatingly long......

HiChristiancarella, I applied on 1st of March for 309 visa and now waiting eagerly for the grant. Feb applicants are getting their visas now, I am just hoping mine will come soon too. I have been checking this forum like ten times a day just to see if any of the March applicants have got their visa ..lol.. Can't wait...

lol yes I know the feeling. I'm glued to this forum and very eager to get this grant. My co dp is on indefinate leave though so hopefully there isn't much delay. Good luck with it all

I have just been assigned a case officer today. hooray!

Our visa application was lodged a few days ago and today the money was taken. Now begins the long wait for migration. Good luck everyone!

Well done nikocs! Me and my partner have now just posted our visa application today. We crammed it full so fingers crossed we have similar news to you.

I am applying with my girlfriend for this partner visa in the next few days. Is it really a 8-9 month waiting list right now? Seems so long away. we want to get out to oz in October if possible. I will be living with my mum for the first couple of months so will probably head out there on a holiday beforehand possibly.
